Re: [JAWS-Users] VERY STUPID PROBLEM WITH MY CAPS LOCK KEY
hmmm, have either of you repaired your jaws? usually such troubles are in a corruption of jaws installs, either by a goofed up install file or by cold kills, shutting the computer off or unplugging it without shutting down your windows as normal. although the process is a little more complex than it used to be in 13, the benefits of a repair are still there. I am on 8 lists and few talk of these kinds of troubles with there jaws 13, so its not the version per say, but something in your setup/installs that is off on you. I had something just like this with j-11, and the repair of it fix the trouble for me. take care, inthane -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of susie q Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 5:44 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] VERY STUPID PROBLEM WITH MY CAPS LOCK KEY my caps lock does the same thing some times I have to hit the stupid thing twice to make it turn off, and allot of other glitches in Jaws 13 too some times the c susieontrol key gets locked in with the ault key, when I some times hit right ault with f four, some times it says ault ctrl f four, and it does nothing why? susie -Original Message- From: Maheen Sent: Wednesday, September 26, 2012 8:32 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] VERY STUPID PROBLEM WITH MY CAPS LOCK KEY IT SEEMS LIKE MY CAPS LOCK KEY AUTOMATICALLY GETS TURNED ON, BUT WHEN I TRY TURNING IT OFF, JAWS WOULDN'T SAY, CAPS LOCK OFF. I assume this has something to do with the buffering and I do hope the problem is eventually solved so I don't have to change back and forth all the time. I have one list that put out over 400 messages in one day, having messages all mixed up was not an option, I reverted to Jaws 13 but the next day I turned off the virtual cursor in Outlook and was able to move quickly through messages again each reading completely and not getting mixed in with the next one. Hi This is Vicky. I'm trying to solve my Internet Explorer problems, by using Firefox instead. Do any of you know what the command would be to open an U R L? Control O, doesn't work. In adition, I can no longer use the quick key F, to find the Edit field. Control plus Alt plus Home, does not work either. Any help will be gratefully accepted!
