Then, change the bit rate once you have selected the output format as mp3.
That's how you can control the size of the output file in youtube-to-mp3
converter.

I'm sorry. What happened to the "control userpasswords2" command?

Is this not available on your computer?

In case it is, the command is to user your run dialog box and type in the
following without the quotes:

"control userpasswords2" and press enter.

You'll find a checkbox that states, users must enter a password to use this
computer.

Uncheck this box, and when you press apply, you'll be prompted to enter the
username of the user that should always log on, and to type in their
password. Confirm the password and press the ok button.

I'm confused as to why no one suggested this?

It's been the default command for this task for as long as I've owned a
computer.

Hi Michele.

Laptop's of different type's, have the functionkey for disabling the
mousepad on different F-keys.
Try fn+F6, and see if it helps.

Otherwise you must find someone to see on your laptop, to recognize the key.

Is it a new laptop, you can be in the situation, that all the F-keys are
funktioning as multimedia keys, and you shalll therefore not use the fn-key.
It is just a little fustrating, every time when alt+f4 has to be used, here
alt+fn+f4 must be pressed together, for closing the app.

Hope you get a little bit further by this small tips.

Hans Pauli.

Merry christmas to all here on list.

Hi all. I'm finding that when I'm typing on my laptop's keyboard, often the
icons will move and I'll do longer be in the edit box I was in, but back on
the desktop. The mouse is enabled on the laptop, but I %try to keep my hands

above it as much as possible when pressing the spacebar. Is it just due to
the mouse, or could the screen be moving around too? I've heard it can do
that in Windows 10.

In Window 7, I was able to disable the mouse by pressing Function f5, but
this no longer seems to work.

Any feedback would be welcome.

Cheers!

Respected friend, to resolve your issue, do the following.
Go to the Skype/tool/option/advance there you will find check boxes.
Here, press tab key 3 times and check that box if it is uncheck.
It says keep Skype in the taskbar when I sign in.
Makesure that you are in the first advance screen of 6 which says Skype updates

[JAWS-Users] Audio Music Inquiry

Afternooon all.
I just copied an audio cd to put on my external hard drive. When I went into my
“this pc” folder, then to music, I found the folder, with the associated files.
But I was having some trouble opening the tracks with either Media Player, or
VLC Media player. /So I thought I would delete the folder, then recopy it.
However, when I tried to delete the folder, I got a message saying the access
was denied to the folder. I am using Windows 10 and JAWS 2018 on a Dell laptop.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Kevin,

This I got from others, so in a nutshell:
1. Open the Run dialogue with Windows key + R, type what's below, & press
enter:
netplwiz
You can also type this in the search field in the start menu.
2. You'll be on the User Accounts dialog, select the user account that you
want to turn off the password login for, and then uncheck labeled Users must
enter a user name and password to use
this computer.
3. Tab to the Apply, button & press the spacebar, & it'll say something like
Automatically sign in box. You'll need to type in your password, tab 1
time, type your password again to confirm your password, now tab to, Okay, &
press enter.
Restart your computer to see how it works.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool.

One thing I did notice is that the Mp3 version is good quality, but takes
up

a lot more space than, say MP3 medium quality through Total Recorder.
Movies I have recorded on that in medium quality average about 40MB, and a
movie of similar length I recorded on Youtube2MP3 converter was in the
80MB

range. Personally, if I can get away with less space but have pretty good
quality, for personal use, I would go with that.

With my new laptop, I configured Windows Hello for fingerprint recognition.
All I need to do is to touch the fingerprint sensor to log in - there's no
need to supply the user name or the password.

This solution has the advantage of increased security (automatic log in is
unacceptable in my situation), while avoiding the traditional user
name/password entry requirement.

Free-Youtube-to-MP3-Converter doesn't require you to use flash, you need to
paste the link into it, select the conversion output mode and bit rate, if
applicable, and then download.
There is a feature in the Advanced area of the setup menu that has a

Re: [JAWS-Users] Windows 10 Log-in Without Password

2017-12-26 Thread Russ Kiehne

How To Automatically Login In Windows 10

Want to quickly boot to your Windows 10 desktop by skipping the login
screen?
Would you like to avoid typing your account password each time you turn on
your PC?

You can configure Windows 10 to automatically boot to the desktop or Start
screen.

The core benefit of configuring Windows 10 to automatically sign-in is you
don’t need to remember the password, which also means that you save a couple
of seconds during the boot. This, in turn, means that Windows 10 boots to
the

Start screen or desktop a couple of seconds faster.

The procedure to set up automatic logon in Windows 10 is very similar to the
one in Windows 7 and Windows 8.

This method is applicable to both local user account and Microsoft account.
In other words, whether you’re using a Microsoft account or local user
account, you can use this guide to enable automatic logon.

WARNING: Enable automatic logon only if you are the sole user of your
computer. If you often share your computer with others, others will be able
to peek into your account without knowing the password.

You can follow one of the methods given below to turn on automatic login in
Windows 10.

Method 1 of 2

Automatically logon without password

This is the easiest way to automatically login to Windows 10 without
entering

the password.

Step 1: First step is to open Run command box by simultaneously pressing
Windows logo and R keys (Windows+R). In the Run dialog box, type Netplwiz
and

then press Enter key.

Step 2: In the resulting User Accounts dialog, select your user account
first

and then uncheck the option labelled Users must enter a user name and
password to use this computer. Click Apply button to see Automatically sign
in box.

Step 3: In the Automatically sign in dialog, type your password and then
re-enter the password to confirm the same.

Finally, click OK button.

Method 2 of 2

Turn on automatic sign-in using Registry

If, for some reason, you’re not able to configure Windows 10 to
automatically

logon by following the above method, please use this method.

Step 1: Open Registry Editor. To do so, type Regedit in the Start menu
search

box or Run command box and then press Enter key. Click Yes button when you
see the UAC (User Account Control) box.

Step 2: In the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Step 3: On the right-side, look for the entry named DefaultUserName,
double-click on it and make sure that your Microsoft account or local user
account name is appearing under Value data box.

Step 4: Next, on the right-side again, look for the entry named
DefaultPassword. If the entry doesn’t exist, please create one by
right-clicking on the empty space, clicking New and then clicking String
Value. Rename it to DefaultPassword and enter your password in the Value
data

box. Click OK button.

Step 5: Finally, you need to enable automatic logon. To do so, on the
right-side (once again), look for the entry labelled AutoAdminLogon and then
change its value from 0 (zero) to 1 (one).

That’s it! Restart your PC to see your Windows 10 automatically logging into
your account without asking you to enter the password. Good luck!

Without a doubt, the second method is not as easy as the first one.
Have fun with Windows 10!

2017-12-26 Thread Hans Pauli Sundstein

Free-Youtube-to-MP3-Converter doesn't require you to use flash, you need to
paste the link into it, select the conversion output mode and bit rate, if
applicable, and then download.
There is a feature in the Advanced area of the setup menu that has a
checkbox to improve accessibility for screen-readers.

Re: [JAWS-Users] making a rule

2017-12-26 Thread Sharon S
Hi, once you have created the rule this easy way go back into the rules menu
under applications. Arrow down this list and you will find manage rules.
This will bring up a list of all your rules. Highlight the rule you want the
sound for then tab to modify and hit enter. In here you should be able to go
through all your settings for that rule and find the sound option.

I hope this helps, I tried going through the steps myself before sending but
my computer refused to go into the rules menu option.

Ok what about making a sound different from your inbox. How would you do
that?
Patti

Hi Patti,
Here is step by step how to do it the easy way.
How to create a new folder in Outlook 2010 and 2016 by Jim and Ed Here is
how to create a folder and make emails go into a certain folder in outlook.
This is just the simplest way I have seen to make a folder and cause the
directed emails to go into it.
Using Outlook 2016or 2010 and Jaws.
For example, making a folder for the Jaws users list or making a folder for
the Windows 10 and Jaws Yahoo group.
1. Be on the email account you wish to add a folder to.
For example: ***outlook.com, the *** standing for your name followed by
the email address.
Highlight that account folder, press the applications key while on it.
2. Go down to: New Folder... press enter.
3. Type in the folder name, press enter.
The new folder is created.
4. Go into the inbox of the account you have added the new folder to.
5. Arrow down and highlight the email you wish to put into this folder.
For example: Jaws users list or the Windows 10 and Jaws list.
6. Press the applications key.
7. Arrow down to Rules sub menu, press the right arrow key one time.
8. Press enter on: Always move messages from***followed by the name of the
group or person for this folder.
9. Arrow up and down through the list of folders in this tree view, find the
new folder, press enter.
10. All the emails for now on that you have selected, either a list, group,
or personal email, from these choices will always go into this new folder.
Remember while in the tree view of folders, right arrow key, expands a
folder account, and left arrow closes the list of folders for that account.
This also works in Outlook 2010.
This is a much easier way of doing rules for the outlook email client.
Good luck...

First I create the folder,

Next we need to assign a rule/filter to the newly created folder, By doing
the following;

1, highlight a message which you wish to create a folder for, Example; One

Another way to do this is:

I disabled the mouse by going through the control panel and typing the word

This lands you in a series of tabs, so shift-tab back once to the tab

tab through to disable your touch pad and your problem should be solved.
