[JAWS-Users] Using jaws13 with Nod32 smart security?
Hello listers, I've just recently downloaded Nod32 smart security antivirus. I used it some years ago and because of problems with another virus program, I wanted to try it out again. Now I'm noticing that nost of the program works with jaws13, however, I don't know if I can get to the interface, or maybe I have, and didn't know it. So if anyone out there is using this antivirus and know more than I do about getting around the program, I would truly appreciate some instructions tips, or whatever that will help me out. [JAWS-Users] Using Netflix with Jaws?
Listers, Does Jaws work with Netflix now? For a time there, Jawsstop working with Netflix because of some changes they made in the program. I keep getting emails from them to comeback, and maybe I will if Jaws13, will now work with the program. If there's any information about this I would appreciate it. Thanks to all. [JAWS-Users] Jaws13 and Avast internet security.
Hello Listers, I am using avast internet security, and for the most part, Jaws13 and avast are working just fine. However, I'm having problems getting to the scan computer button. Is this the way this is? Or is there away to fix or get around this issue. I can go to most or even all the other features, its just I can't click on the scan computer button. [JAWS-Users] How to replace FS mirror display drivers in device maniger?
Listers, Okay, I blew it this time I was having problems with Jaws so I uninstalled everything including the mirror display drivers in device maniger. I reinstalled Jaws at least, three times but I'm getting a message saying, some thing like, the mirror display drivers need to be repaired.So, how is that done? I've rebooted the computer as I was told by Jaws to fix the problem, but thatdidn't fix it. That too, was done several times. This is Jaws12 I'm dealing with, and I did a full repair by installing the latest build of Jaws, and still nothing!. If anyone knows how to fix this, please, tell me. [JAWS-Users] Jaws12 being some timy with Adobe9.3?
Listers, I have installed and uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe reader9.3, and am having the same problem; wich is, Jaws isn't seeing some of the scannings. My brother is telling me that the document is there as clear as day but Jaws12 just isn't seeing it. Now other scanning of the same document jaws does see and read. When Jaws doesn't see the document the message is, alert, know pages. But the pages are there! I also know that the pages are there because when Adobe is putting the pages in order Jaws will say how many pages there are, and again, my brother reads. Can someone tell me how and why, is Jaws12, reading some scans and not reading others of the exact same document?! This is a health document and I really want to have it in PDF form, it's about 70 pages which is really nothing for adobe or jaws to handle. [JAWS-Users] Jaws not reading the start menu search
Listers, I really don't understand this. Jaws will not read the start menu search field. When I put a word in the search field, that word may show up or I may have to tab three times for the list of word that is suppose to be in the start menu field. A lot of times, I can type a word in the start menu search, another word that I didn't type will show up. What is this, can this be explain?! Thanks?! [JAWS-Users] Problem with dongle activation?
Listers, Every time I start my computer I get a message about my computer isn't activated. That's Jaws activated. So I unload jaws and reload it, and all is well. Well, can some one please tell me just what is going on here?! I'm running both my Office PC and my notebook with dongles and I'm having the same problem with both, and its been going on for some time now. I've called FS, but they hadn't any idea what's going on here. If anyone out there have an idea, would you please let me know so I can hopefully resolve this issue? Thanks to all. Listers, I can't get Jaws to read the buttons in vista64 bit when using mobile device center. My brother tells me that all the buttons are there but Jaws can't see them. Has anyone else had this problem when using mobile device center and Vista64 bit? If so, were you able to fix it? I'm thinking that jaws and mobile device center64 bit with Vista64 bit, just won't work. It's all good with Vista32 bit but not Vista64 bit. Riana, Are you saying, that verbosity is inMS word? I ask this because I went through verbosity in Jaws11, and there's know edit there that I can see. So please explain it a little better? I did call FS, and the tech said he found verbosity in MS word, but I don't know what version of word he was using, I'm using MS word2007. Thanks! Listers, I can't get real speak solo voices to read whole documents. The reading stops and I have to continually press insert down arrow to start the reading again. I have to do this over and over again. Never with eloquence. Is anyone else having or had this problem?If so, how did you fix it if you did fix it? It doesn't matter where I am on the computer be it email, internet, or just a file on my machine, real speak just will not read the whole document. I really would appreciate your help. Thanks! [JAWS-Users] Solo voices and jaws?
Listers, I've just received OpenBook64 bit for my 64 bit machine. I was told that the solo voices will work for both OpenBook and Jaws, it's not doing that. The solo voices only work in OpenBook. Can any body tell me, what could be the problem? The only Sapi 5 voice that is working in Jaws, is anna, (narrator). The solo voices came with OpenBook, however,I was told that they will work with Jaws as well. Thanks for your help! [JAWS-Users] Shutting up the graav key?
Listers, I have been trying to stop Jaws from saying graav when pressing that particular key? It seems that there's no muting the graav key in the jaws maniger default keyboard option? I'm using that key for my clock and I would like to stop Jaws from saying graav. If anyone knows how this can be done, I sure would appreciate that information. Listers, I found a very inexpensive copy of the randomHouseWebster'sUnabridged dictionary, would you believe it, for $8?! However, I need to know, is anyone using this version of this dictionary? I know about the older version, I don't remember the exact version it was, and that one does work with Jaws, having said that, I would like a more up to date version if possible, if, it will work with Jaws.
