[JAWS-Users] Installing CdEx
Hello all. I've found the latest version of CdEx which is 1.91. How can I keep the installer from installing unwanted software which is bundled with it? I tried using both the JAWS and touch cursor to change this, but was unable to. I would appreciate any suggestions about how to fix this, as I like CdEx. Thanks in advance. My intent with this e-mail is not to stir up controversy, but to try to get the truth regarding upgrading a Jjaws SMA. Here's my situation: My current Jaws SMA ends with Jaws 18. I recently received a mail notification from Freedom Scientific advising me that I can renew my Jaws SMA for the next two Jaws upgrades for $120, as long as I do so by December 31. In a followup conversation with the FS Customer Service Department, I was told that if I wait to renew my SMA after December 31, that cost will go up to $180. I was always under the impression that the $120 SMA renewal cost figure would be the same as long as you renewed your SMA prior to the next major Jaws update. Perhaps I am mistaken here, and wonder what others know about this issue. I may not be able to renew my SMA prior to December 31, and just want to know what to expect, or how to advocate for a fair price. Thanks!
