[JAWS-Users] An Accessible Calendar

2010-12-02 Thread beverly
This topic has probably been discussed in the past, but I can't find an
answer so I'm asking again. Is there an accessible calendar or agenda that
can be used with jaws? I need to keep track of appointments. I am using jaws
11 and Vista.

Any help would be appreciated, and I apologize if this topic has already
been discussed.

Try the free calendar program that is bundled with the WebbIE suite of
programs. It is easy to use and was designed to work with screen readers.

Hi Beverly,
Why not use a simple text file?
I have already made one up for 2011, and I believe that David has posted it
to the website.

Hi. You can also use magic calendar. Its free of charge and can be
downloaded from:

www.stokepoges.plus.com/calendar.htm

also, you could use sunbird, it works pretty well as well as the webie
calendar, all these alternatives are free!

2010-12-02 Thread Tom Vos
I use a simple excel spreadsheet.
I have seven templates with the days, (Monday, Tuesday...) in column A
Then I enter information in column B
Easy, and very accessible.
I think David has my templates on the resources page,
And I'll share them with anyone who asks me.
Blessings,
Tom

They are in fact on the tips and tricks page for anybody who might wish to
download them. There is also a notepad file formatted as a calendar for
2011, 2012, 2013 up there as well.

I believe that tomorrow is another day, and I'll probably screw that one up
too.
