Re: [JAWS-Users] Converting .DOC or .TXT files to PDF

2010-06-22 Thread Steve

Sorry, I haven't read the entire list of responses to your question yet.

I don't think the conversion of doc to pdf was added until Office 2007.

However, there is an external service that will do the doc conversion for
you.  It is located at

http://www.zamzar.com

What you do there is choose to upload a file. Then, you can convert it from
one type of document to another, and they will send you the converted
document via email. There are various combo boxes whether you want to
convert to and from different document formats, or from different
audio-video formats, etc.

Hi Al;

Thanks for the response and clarification of PDF. Although, I think, most
people thinks it stands for Pretty Damn Frustrating at one time or
another!

LOL So, there isn't a program in the Office Suite that might convert
documents into PDF files that you know of? Thanks again, take care.

 Hi Al;

 Thanks for the response and clarification of PDF. Although, I think,
 most
 people thinks it stands for Pretty Damn Frustrating at one time or
 another!
 LOL So, there isn't a program in the Office Suite that might convert
 documents into PDF files that you know of? Thanks again, take care.
 Mike

 Hi All;

 Is there a way that I can convert .DOC or .TXT files into
 PDF files using
 XPSP3 Home, Office2002 Home, Openbook7,  Jaws10 latest?
 Also, what does
 PDF stand for? All help will be graciously accepted.
 Thanks much.  Take
 care.
 Mike
