Sorry, I haven't read the entire list of responses to your question yet. I don't think the conversion of doc to pdf was added until Office 2007. However, there is an external service that will do the doc conversion for you. It is located at http://www.zamzar.com What you do there is choose to upload a file. Then, you can convert it from one type of document to another, and they will send you the converted document via email. In Word 2007 in the save as dialog box, one of the options is PDF. I do not have 2002 so can't check but maybe one of the options is to save as PDF in that version as well. Google for cutepdf I am not sure how accessible the installer is but once it is installed (as a printer) you can print to it through the print dialogue box and it will save a pdf for you. Mike I'm still using Office 2000 and there is nothing in there. I have a program that I use called PDF converter but it can as part of my OmniPage Pro OCR scanning software.
