Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS repair error message

2018-05-12 Thread Adrian Spratt
Sadam,

Two or three years ago, I ran into a similar problem trying to perform a JAWS
repair. The error message was about some other part of the process, but it had
the same effect. FS/VFO was also unable to fix it. Yet it went away in time.

Not much help, I know, but I mention it for what it's worth.

Adrian,

I have  tried running  the repair quite a number of times with the same result.

Even tech support can't work it out.

Very strange.

2018-05-12 Thread Sadam Ahmed

Hi Mike,

Yes, I've tried both suggestions.

I think level 2 VFO support will need to take a look.

It's a very strange issue.

Hi Sadam Ahmed,

I haven't been following this thread, but have you tried uninstalling this
version of Jaws & reinstalling from scratch? If you have tried this, and
were unsuccessful, have you tried a another downloaded installer?

like this. VFO tech support people will tell you so. But if that fails, it's
