You may try the following.
Do shift + tab, to get to the desktop.
Once on the desktop, locate the User icon.
Enter on the User icon.
Once inside this folder.
The second one should be Desktop.
Press the application key.
Arrow up once, for properties.
Enter on properties.
Hope this works for you.
I'm using Windows 7 home.

2015-01-17 Thread Mike Boyd

Anna,

What Gaston was saying probably does not pertain to a lot of people, because
I do not think most people keep their Users folder on their desktop, but it
can be accessed through the Users folder in your C: drive. However, If you
want to make changes to the desktop, then this will not help you anyway. If
you are on the desktop, and you use Control + Shift to deselect everything,
then open the context menu by pressing the applications key, what you see
here are the properties for the desktop. Here you can make any sort of
changes to the desktop that are available. The last item in the llist,
Personalize, contains the largest amount of properties that you can change.
Please take another look at this, and if you still do not find the
properties that you are looking for, then post again with the specific
details about what you are looking for.

All the desktop icon is a shortcut. You should go to setting in the start

so not sure where Uncle Bill hid it.

The icon on the desktop is nothing more than a shortcut to control panel, so
