Re: [JAWS-Users] linked in
Hi Justin, What are you wanting to do on LinkedIn? I use it all the time and admit the learning curve can be significant but that's true of most tools new to us. The more powerful the more complex and more to learn. The bright spot is that once the profile was set up, I tend to regularly use only a handful of functions. So, mastery of a few of the most useful functions is doable. Use "H' to move the mostly self-explanatory headings and familiarize yourself with the content under those that you think you want to use. Write back if you want some more specific tips. Re: [JAWS-Users] linked in
I have had LinkedIn for a few years and it is terrible. They even have a link to send comments and inquiries for accessibility and I have sent several messages over the years and never gotten a responce. I think it is fake accessibility. It can be a tool for business so you may need some sighted help if you think it can work for you. I am not clear on just what good it does. I keep it for my Not-for-profit. Find Jaws read everything but, I am not really learning about the system itself, will take time, I have a profile there also, no picture and very little activity, figuring out what to do when a message does come in etc. is something I am not wrapping my head around at this time, probably stress from my job being outsourced soon and other things. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Steve Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2015 1:09 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Linked In With Jaws Yes, it is fairly accessible.
