[JAWS-Users] making jaws work with Thunderbird
If you want to make Jaws work with Thunderbird using the up to date version and you do not have the up to date version of Jaws for example you have only Jaws 17 or an earlier version. Then to make it work you have to go into the view menu and arrow down to sort by and press enter then you have to arrow down the list and press enter on Threaded this will change the list view to a tree view and then Jaws 17 or earlier versions of jaws will work with the up to date versions of Thunderbird. hope this helps For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] making jaws work with Thunderbird
If she is using a version of Jaws other than 18. She will need to download v 45 and disable automatic updates. I can give you the file and instructions if needed. The instructor isn't real familiar with Windows and said it looked like Jaws can't work with this email program. He said another screenreader would work better but, like me, she wants to use Jaws for everything. Are there scripts needed to make it work better? Thanks.
