Hi Anna,

Pin to Start Menu.  If you have something highlighted like a shortcut icon, 
you open the context menu, & press enter on this option it will put a copy 
of that icon in the start menu.  At least that's what happens in Windows 7, 
so if I'm wrong about this in Windows 8, hoepfully someone will correct me.
