Sometimes, you can try object character recognition in Jaws, then
left-clicking the result.

Insert-Space, then O, then W. When the results come up, if you see a Buy
button or something similar, just left-click it.

2017-05-20 Thread Kenny
This is the procedure I use a lot. Sometimes these webmasters use
fancy DHTML coding for displaying important buttons at the very
bottom of the web page. The only way JAWS can see these buttons are
in OCR mode.

Judy, for what it's worth, I agree with you. This is why I never
tried learning WindowEyes, because it was so different from JAWS.
Unfortunately, we will have to struggle with the problem until
universal accessibility is mandated, which may not be for a long
time, or till the sighted want it. It's always based on what the
sighted want, because we are a small minority. However, we have
made some strides, thanks to the sighted, i.e. greater access to
audio books, because the sighted decided they liked them.

Faithfulness does not begin with large tasks-if it is not present
in small things, it does not exist at all.

My memory fails me as to who started this thread so please forgive that. The
messages are fine but the subject line needs a lot of work. Just a reminder
from a guy who has to read all the messages that come across my desk.
