Hi, Fernando. As others have already posted, VFO is the new name for two merged 
entities. However, it is actually Freedom Scientific with a new name, since it 
was the purchaser.

I ultimately are seeing many of you referring to VFO instead of Freedom 
Scientific when requiring JAWS technical support.

Since international customers have to buy or get support through dealers or in 
some cases governmental agencies, I'm not very aware on what is exactly VFO. Is 
it an enterprise to which Freedom Scientific sold its trademarks including 
JAWS? Is it a Freedom Scientific subsidiary to serve some specific area in the 
United States? Will software references to Freedom Scientific be replaced with 
VFO ones in the future?

Current Freedom Scientific website bottom simply tells “Part of VFO,” and VFO's 
website have no much information.

VFO is a merger of Freedom Scientific, Inc. and Optelec. This occurred year 
before last. Since VFO has gobbled up a few more companies as well. Try a 
search on "VFO purchases Freedom Scientific" and a lot of info comes up.
