[plasmashell] [Bug 374065] New: Device Notifier hijacks application focus
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374065 Bug ID: 374065 Summary: Device Notifier hijacks application focus Product: plasmashell Version: 5.8.4 Platform: Archlinux Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Device Notifier Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org Reporter: mayazcherq...@gmail.com Target Milestone: 1.0 The USB port on my phone (Nexus 5) is relatively loose, so just a tiny little jiggle will cause it to disconnect and reconnect to the computer. Every single time, while I'm working, and this happens, the "Device Notifier" plasmoid pops up and completely causes the application I was using (Qt Creator) to lose focus and focuses instead on the plasmoid. It is especially annoying when I'm trying to type, as I have to dismiss / minimise the plasmoid and refocus back to whatever it is that I was doing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[plasmashell] [Bug 371991] Multi monitor setup crashes [ShellCorona::screenForContainment]
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371991 --- Comment #30 from Jason Van Wynsberg--- I tried to do a little testing on this. Hopefully it helps. At least in my case, this is what I found: This seems to occur in my case when the primary monitor is disconnected. I think in the case of folks closing their laptop lid, it's being treated as the same. If the primary monitor is the laptop, I can freely disconnect and reconnect the monitor without issue. This does indeed still occur with a brand new clean user account. This also seems to reset wallpaper settings if you are using slideshow mode. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I think Gimp is a major software and the lack of integration makes feel Breeze as incomplete. For what I know, it is possible to create custom themes for Gimp. 1) Edit > Preferences > Theme is the place where the user can select a custom theme. 2) Themes created for 2.8 won't work under 2.10, so maybe it would be a good idea to focus on the latter. 3) There are several themes for Gimp, with custom icons, that can be a good starting point at least to understand the logic. For instance: https://github.com/draekko/gimp-cc-themes Breeze is an amazing suite of themes, it would be nice if it could encompass Gimp. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kalarm] [Bug 373848] Indicator not showing in Ubuntu Unity 16.10 (4:16.04.3-0ubuntu2)
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373848 --- Comment #3 from David Jarvie--- The question is whether Unity provides an option to display hidden system tray icons. If it does, you can use that to see the icon. Alternatively, you can use KAlarm's configuration dialog to show the icon at all times. Go to the menu option Settings -> Configure KAlarm. Then select the View page, General tab, and choose "Always show" under "Show in system tray". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 373948] blank screen after login
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373948 --- Comment #2 from Hagai Hadad--- I disagree on both analysis (driver and gnome-shell) I have another nvidia card which is GTX580 (my current card is GTX960) Here is the test I made: I removed my GTX960 and installed GTX580 login to kde - works !!! logout, shutdown, replace cards back to original. login again to KDE - works !!! So I'm writing to you now from firefox on kde plasma, fc 25 - with a card which previously was not able to load kde. My guess - once the first login occurred (with the GTX580), "something" was set in place. About the gnome-shell issue - the problem is re-login. you can login for the first time. but you can't re-login if you logout. Had it been a driver issue, most probably the first login would have failed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[krunner] [Bug 374044] New: Krunner initially selects item under mouse cursor and not the top item
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374044 Bug ID: 374044 Summary: Krunner initially selects item under mouse cursor and not the top item Product: krunner Version: 5.8.4 Platform: Gentoo Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: k...@privat.broulik.de Reporter: till2.schae...@uni-dortmund.de Target Milestone: --- When calling krunner from a shortcut, typing some search term and pressing enter one expects to execute/open the top found item. However, if the mouse cursor is positioned in the area of krunner before calling the shortcut, the item below the mouse cursor is selected. This also happens if the mouse is never moved. This behavior has led to many false selections using krunner (and i needed some time to figure out why something else was started than I expected). I propose to select an item only on mouse move or click. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[krita] [Bug 373821] Crash when edditing text, also text button are not displayed
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=373821 --- Comment #6 from Rafal--- Because i am working with commission right now, i do not want to mess with different versions of Krita (just in case) I will patiently wait for next stable release. I will probably avoid text tool's options until new one will be implemented. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
