Here is a txt file with 3 Arabic words UTF-8:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/x12xxn2dfqymznc/Some%20Arabic%20Words.txt?dl=0
https://www.dropbox.com/s/3tcshyptp2tz71z/Arabic%20words.docx?dl=0

As I said, using any characters other than English will result in fail.

'Gardening' currently gets translated with 'Gemüse'(=vegetables?!).
'Gardening' should be translated with 'Gartenarbeit' or 'Gärtnern'

'Gift Received' can not be found at all.

[skrooge] [Bug 380168] Broken categories in german translation

2017-05-24 Thread Bernhard Scheirle
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380168

The line
'Lebensmittel, Lebensmittel > Ausgehen;Essen > Lebensmittel;'

should be

'Lebensmittel; Lebensmittel > Ausgehen;Lebensmittel > Lebensmittel;'

or

'Essen; Essen > Ausgehen;Essen > Lebensmittel;'

1. wrong split character , vs ;
2. Not the same main category: either use 'Essen' or 'Lebensmittel'

I prefer 'Essen' as main category since 'Ausgehen' doesn't work so well with
'Lebensmittel'

[skrooge] [Bug 380168] New: Broken categories in german translation

2017-05-24 Thread Bernhard Scheirle
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380168

Bug ID: 380168
Summary: Broken categories in german translation
   Product: skrooge
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: guillaume.deb...@gmail.com
  Reporter: bernhard+...@scheirle.de
CC: steph...@mankowski.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

If you create a new document with a german ui many of the default categories
are broken (they do not group correctly).

Example:
There are 5 root categories:
* Bildung
* Bildung> Bücher
* Bildung> Gebühren
* Bildung> Kredit
* Bildung> Unerricht

But it should be grouped like:
* Bildung
---* Bücher
---* Gebühren
---* Kredit
---* Unerricht

As far as I can tell the problem is that in the translation file[1] the split
sequence ' > ' is not used correctly.
Sometimes there is no space before or after '>'.

Skrooge Version: 2.8.1

according to strace.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380161

Bug ID: 380161
Summary: Wishlist Export to Flickr - Suggest to create new
album automatically
   Product: digikam
   Version: 5.6.0
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Kipiinterface
  Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: aegor...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hello,

I thought it would be great if the flickr uploadr could read the folder name
and paste it as suggested album name for "create new album" option.
For example if the selected pictures located in
"/pictures/2017/2017-05/2017-05-23 Wedding" the suggested name would be
"2017-05-23 Wedding"
Right now user has to click on "+New Album" and Type in the name of the new
album.
Just an idea.

[krita] [Bug 380059] Greyed out UI Elements After Exporting Animation

2017-05-24 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380059

I actually tried to recreate the error again and was unsuccessful. Now the
images are created in the folder with an additional "~" added to the end of the
old filenames since the filenames were already present. When I had the issue, I
was exporting .png files with the settings shown in the attached image. My
machine has 16GB of ram available.

Scrolling on Wayland is choppy unless, e.g., one sets in the GUI "mouse wheel
scrolls by" to 1 line, rather than the default 3, for example. This is true for
both gtk and qt(5) apps. I'm using an Elan touchpad.

[QtCurve] [Bug 353216] qtcurve-qt5 is missing the qtcurve window decoration in Plasma 5

2017-05-24 Thread Roman Bysh
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353216

The person maintaining QtCurve is rewriting the kwin code in the qtcurve source
code. So he couldn't give me a date for it this year. This is taking a very
long time to finish and port the Window decoration to Plasma 5.10

Anybody out there that knows C++ really well. We just may need some one to help
out the maintainer.
Another option would be to create a fork for qtcurve=qt5 and finish it this
year.

Stacktrace of krunner crash

This report was provided by a user under support and could not be reproduced on
my own system. The target system does have a deactivated NVIDIA card and is
running on intel graphic chips. Desktop search and desktop effects are
activated.

When using krunner it does randomly crashs. It is not possible to reproduce the
crashs in a reliable manner as it seems to be working sometimes fine and then
occuring again. Similiar crashs seems not to be reproducable on the system
except when using krunner.

Attached to the issue you'll find the stack trace of the issue that was dumped.
Asking for further assistance for analyzing he issue or to gather further
information.

Many thanks in advance!

[yakuake] [Bug 380157] New: Allow running as "regular window"

2017-05-24 Thread xliiv
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380157

Bug ID: 380157
Summary: Allow running as "regular window"
   Product: yakuake
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: h...@kde.org
  Reporter: tymoteusz.jankow...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

I'd see an option for running Yakuake as "regular window" (like Konsole) with
many instances.

Invert case has Tilix terminal application, like here
https://github.com/gnunn1/tilix/wiki/Quake-Mode

Tilix is a "regular window" application by default.
Tilix also allows to run as Quakelike terminal.

Yakuake could do opposite.
Yakuake is Quakelike terminal
Yakuake could also run as "regular window" application.

This would solve (partially) the case with Konsole application split (which is
not intuitive for someones).
Because Yakauke is decent application with embedded Konsole AND has intuitive
splits.

Would you merge such change if it was happend?

[okular] [Bug 380154] New: Please add "Rulers" option to Okular

2017-05-24 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380154

Bug ID: 380154
Summary: Please add "Rulers" option to Okular
   Product: okular
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: unspecified
OS: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: okular-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: yousifjka...@yahoo.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hi. Currently Okular has no "Rulers" option to enable units measures by mm,
inch & pt (PostScript points) units within document like PDF files.

I did not select specific backend for this issue because I feel that this will
be very useful for many format.

But frankly speaking, I'm concerned with PDF. If you accept to add this option,
please please give support to "pt" units (PostScript points) because there is
other program (only open source application available for Linux which give
outline editor) will get benefit from this. This program is: jPDFTweak:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/jpdftweak/
http://jpdftweak.sourceforge.net/manual/index.html

Problem of this program is that it need 2nd program (as viewer) for user to add
an outline !! 2nd program should show position of mouse position (width X
hight) for user need to use hight value for needed outline. Measure should be
in PostScript points. Currently developer recommend to use "GSview" program for
that:

http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/gsview/get50.htm

However, GSview is primitive viewer & somewhat ugly & it will be very nice to
be replaced by Okular as long as you refuse to add ability to edit/add outlines
of PDF to Okular ...

Best.

  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: BatchQueueManager-Tool-Metadata

  Target Milestone: ---

I occasionally take analogue pictures which I track with Photographer's
Notebook
(https://f-droid.org/repository/browse/?fdid=unisiegen.photographers.activity).
The app is able to export XML files. Currently, I have to write everything
manually with digikam's Metadata Editor. (Please tell me, if there's already a
better way). Therefore, I'd like to see a possibility to import arbitrary XML
metadata via the BQM.

I went through the backtrace stack and gathered all the involved packages.
Then I've rebuilt them and kwin stopped crashing...

The packages I've rebuilt:
dev-qt/qtcore
dev-qt/qtdbus
dev-qt/qtgui
dev-qt/qtwidgets
kde-frameworks/kwindowsystem
kde-plasma/kdecoration
kde-plasma/kwin
kde-plasma/oxygen
sys-libs/glibc

I suspect that rebuilding only the kde-plasma/oxygen would be fine, but
I was eager to make kwin finally working, so I did them all...

You can just replace the old patch with the debug one. If you give it the same
name as the original patch, the PKGBUILD should work.

Okay, I will have a look now that I know where to dig. Stay tuned.

[kdevelop] [Bug 369573] kdevelop consumes all available memory when editing js file [QmlJS::NodeJS::moduleDirectories]

2017-05-24 Thread Martin Riethmayer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369573

Here's the heaptrack with debug symbols:

http://bit.ly/2qP7Otc

The increase in memory usage did not start until I made the first change to the
JS file (increased a timeout from 2500 to 25000). I did not press "Save", just
as soon as I hit the "0" the memory increase seemed to start.

I also can reproduce this bug.
It becomes worse when there are 2 panels between 2 monitors (same size and
resolution):
- one panel on the right edge of left monitor
- one panel on the left edge of right monitor
All movement and sometimes resizing of windows makes them appear under the
bottom of the screen.

Thanks, can you install debug information for kdevelop and rerun heaptrack
please? Many interesting locations could not be resolved in your trace. We now
only know that /something/ in kdevqmljs seems to run Path::cd repeatedly,
apparently leading to an ever increasing path that eventually consumes all
memory. The question now is what part of our code base is triggering this, and
why.

[plasma-nm] [Bug 380150] New: "SIM PIN unlock required" always present after logging in

2017-05-24 Thread Olli
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380150

Bug ID: 380150
Summary: "SIM PIN unlock required" always present after logging
in
   Product: plasma-nm
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
  Reporter: otuomi...@suse.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Every time I do the log in to my KDE system a notifier pops up "SIM PIN Unlock
required" which ask me to put my PIN number for the broadband device.

This issue has been around already a while:
https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/471950-quot-SIM-PIN-unlock-required-quot-always-present-after-logging-in

I'm using
Repository : openSUSE-Leap-42.2-Update
Name : plasma-nm5
Version: 5.8.6-4.1

I have tried to store PIN to system wide nm settings (all users) and personal
kwallet. So if I hit cancel and then activate broadband connection it works as
expect. The initial notification which is asking the pin is annoying.

Hi, I've never seen the issue, so we might need some additional information.

What do you actually do to reproduce the error?
Do you also get duplicate entries like bug #380138?

[Discover] [Bug 380043] discover freezes till all updates/packages are installed . should also show progress bar

2017-05-24 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380043

hello. the problem occurrs while installing anything thru discover.
also pls note the delayed population of the various packages . eg
clicking on icons or any other thing takes forever to load the available
packages.

also after installing a package the install button sometimes doesnt turn
to remove. so there is no way of knowing if a package is already installed .

thank you fr your time and effort

Interesting. Would you be able to provide a backtrace with debug symbols? That
would make it much easier to find where the issue is.

Heaptrack of KDevelop with remote JS file

As requested by Milian Wolff on https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=367893
I've added a heaptrack. Hope this helps?

This is a very small JS file, it seems the background parser seems to run wild
again after clicking here and there.

Yes, it's still under development. No one seems to care about the deco right
now though.

Once you've customized your QtCurve config, you could just make an Aurorae

Running 64-bit digiKam 5.5.0 installer under Windows 8.1, am able to select
installation location and then start the "Close Conflicting Programs" step
searching for open programs.

Searching on runs until approx 70% before blue-screening with
SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION then restarting the OS.

Have also observed the same behaviour in the 5.5.0 Win32 installer and in 5.4.0
Win64 installer.
