I converted the patch to git, and after some reading on regex, got it working.
To be honest, it may have been fine to start with, but I forgot to clear a

The output doesn't seem to contain the info I need. Can you dump the whole
smash like this - journalctl -b | grep kio_smb > smb_debug.txt - and post it
somewhere?

The info about share access permissions should pop up in the log when you open
the server's root. You can run journalctl -f and look what gets logged when you
browse your shares.

[plasma-nm] [Bug 380209] New: Speed labels and speed graph empty after showing the applet twice

2017-05-25 Thread Elvis Angelaccio
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380209

Bug ID: 380209
Summary: Speed labels and speed graph empty after showing the
applet twice
   Product: plasma-nm
   Version: 5.8.7
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: applet
  Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
  Reporter: elvis.angelac...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

To reproduce:

1. Run "plasmoidviewer -a org.kde.plasma.networkmanagement"
2. Show the applet, the speed labels (upload/download) are on the right of the
"Connected" label, as expected. The graph with the upload/download curves also
works fine.
3. Close the applet
4. Open the applet again, the speed labels are gone and the graph stays empty.

When expanding the connection item to show the graph, I get this output:

file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.networkmanagement/contents/ui/ConnectionItem.qml:193:26:
Unable to assign [undefined] to bool
file:///usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.networkmanagement/contents/ui/ConnectionItem.qml:193:26:
Unable to assign [undefined] to bool

I can reproduce this issue on two different machines connected to the same
Wi-Fi network.

Alt-tabbing in KDE Plasma
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.9.5
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

Lollypop shows a generic X11 icon, not its own icon

Linux distribution: openSUSE Tumbleweed
Desktop environment: KDE Plasma 5.9.5
Lollypop version: 0.9.233
Gtk Version: 3.22.11-1.1

Lollypop is a GTK-based music player written in Python for GNOME. It works just
fine in KDE Plasma, except for one issue: when you activate Alt-tab, the icon
shown in the Alt-tab bar isn't Lollypop's actual icon; it's some generic X11
icon. See the attached screenshot.

I originally reported this upstream
(https://github.com/gnumdk/lollypop/issues/1092), but the developer said he
thinks it's a downstream issue.

Bug ID: 380206
Summary: mpir fails to install on Architecture != x86 and
buildtype != Release
   Product: Craft
   Version: stable
  Platform: MS Windows
OS: MS Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED

  Target Milestone: ---

crafting mpir fails in the install step when building on Windows for
architecture != Win32 and/or build type != Release. The issue seems to be
caused by the fact that /portage/win32libs/mpir/mpir.py has "Win32" and
"Release" hardwired in the install method.

[Discover] [Bug 380205] New: More details during system update

2017-05-25 Thread Christian Treczoks
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380205

Bug ID: 380205
Summary: More details during system update
   Product: Discover
   Version: 5.6.2
  Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: discover
  Assignee: aleix...@kde.org
  Reporter: christ...@treczoks.net
  Target Milestone: ---

I just had Discover updating 33 items. While I can see what they are, as soon
as I press "update", all I get is a simple (and stupid) progress bar. No
information on which part it is currently updating, if it is downloading or
unpacking, and, most important, no indication of how long this might take. I am
well aware that the last part is the hardest, but even a calculation of "X of Y
packets have been downloaded with A_X of A_Y bytes of download, so a rough
guesstimate of remaining time is:" should be possible.

If you don't want to confuse normal users with too much information (which I
don't expect on a Linux system, but well), add a "show/hide details" button, if
you wish.

When I have to drive on autopilot, at least let me see where I am heading!

[plasmashell] [Bug 380203] New: Panel for LastScreen != 0 is lost offscreen when connecting different displays

2017-05-25 Thread James Hemsing
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380203

Bug ID: 380203
Summary: Panel for LastScreen != 0 is lost offscreen when
connecting different displays
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: master
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Panel
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: jhems...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: 1.0

When connecting a different display to my system and removing the previous
primary display, the panel containing the kickoff is offscreen and not
recoverable without changing the LastScreen key in the
~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc back to 0. If the value of
LastScreen is 0, this isn't a problem since there will always be a 0 display.
However, I like to have my kickoff panel on my non-primary screen so that it is
visible with fullscreen video/games, making LastScreen for this panel non-zero.

I'm running the latest version of Arch. I am also running the amdgpu kernel
video driver FWIW. Since I frequently move my PC around the house between
different monitors and TVs, I've noticed this problem.

Verifying the actual display with widgets/panel is connected might be a good
way to go, or perhaps providing an option to gather all offscreen panels and
widgets to a visible display might be good to preserve user preferences.

There is a default tag rule, this one:

Metadata Subspace: EXIF
Name: Exif.Image.XPKeywords
Special Options: NO_OPTS
Alternative name:
Alternative special options: NO_OPTS
Separator: ;
Set Tags Path: [V]

The rule is enabled. I used the 'Reset to Default' button when checking for the
second time.

I can not add a rule for XPKeywords because when adding a rule, the only option
allowed for 'Metadata Subpspace' is XMP.

valgrind-xtree-add-regtests.patch

This attachment adds two experimental tests for xtree-leak and xtree-memory.
xtree-leak uses callgrind_annotate to show the cost values per function and
sorts the output afterwards to make it stable.

The other for xtree-memory only checks the generated file. I wonder if this one
is stable enough.

Remove assertion that dcache line size is 64 bytes on aarch64

We are seeing an assertion failure on an as yet unreleased aarch64 CPU because
the dcache line size on the processor is 128 bytes. The assertion in
coregrind/m_libcproc.c that cache line size is always 64 bytes for aarch64 is
not valid and should be dropped. Attached patch does this.

[digikam] [Bug 374302] MYSQL : all Images with Geoinfo seem to be at (0°, 0°)

2017-05-25 Thread Lukas Winkler
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374302

Another insight:
I just started Digikam with LANG=C /opt/digikam-5.6.0-01-x86-64.appimage and it
converted the digikam locale to 'US-ASCII' and geodata worked.

But then I started it with LANG=de_AT /opt/digikam-5.6.0-01-x86-64.appimage
(notice that my system locale is de_AT.UTF8) and digikam converted the database
back to UTF-8, but started in English and it still worked.

Finally I started it with LANG=de_AT.UTF8 /opt/digikam-5.6.0-01-x86-64.appimage
and now it started in German and it didn't work anymore.

I think it doesn't have much to do with the database, but some part of Digikam
(KDE? Qt?) is interpreting something wrong with a German locale set.

Bug ID: 380196
Summary: Cannot create new album when uploading to Google
Photos
   Product: digikam
   Version: 5.5.0
  Platform: Mint (Ubuntu based)
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Export
  Assignee: digikam-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: roger.f...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

There used to be a 'New..' button when selecting which album to export photos
to Google Picasaweb / Photos. Where is it?

As it is I can only upload to existing Google Photo albums. The only way to
create a New album on Google Photos (on the web) is select existing uploaded
photos and create a new album. I don't think I can even create a new empty
album for Digikam to upload to.

[valgrind] [Bug 380193] vex x86->IR: unhandled instruction bytes: 0xC5 0xFB 0x2C 0x40 while running Memcheck on mencoder

You'll probably get a lot further if you use a 64 bit build - many of the newer
instructions are not supported in 32 bit mode and that's likely to be a major
issue in a media encoder that is likely to be using lots of SSE stuff.

[kmymoney] [Bug 380194] New: Split transactions no longer shows the split per category on tax reports.

2017-05-25 Thread José Pekkarinen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380194

Bug ID: 380194
Summary: Split transactions no longer shows the split per
category on tax reports.
   Product: kmymoney
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: General
  Assignee: kmymoney-de...@kde.org
  Reporter: koali...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hi,

Reports on git version of kmymoney no longer accounts splits properly. For
example, doing an split on your income, and marking one only of the splits
category to show on Tax report, will show your whole transactions in the
report, instead of the split you wanted to show. Making VAT splits using
artificial categories like 24%, 14%, 10%, shows the complete amount of the
transaction instead of the split in the category section.

Printing the very same report from kf4 version to kf5 version, reports
different Grand totals and values along the categories that seems to
correspond to the same issue, kf5 doesn'take just the splits, but the whole
transaction, making an income section that should have a value of 2610.28 looks
like 3977.88.

Thanks!

José.

Well, digiKam has already all rules to manage XPKeyworks tags.

I did some deeper research. The field where Windows Explorer saves the tag has
the name "XPKeywords" according to IrfanView. DigiKam has a metadata tag entry
for this, but searching a bit further brought this up:
http://dev.exiv2.org/boards/3/topics/530

So I guess that is the problem here?

In the latest code, connecting via Bluetooth works (albeit there maybe a crash
due to a timing issue (fix submitted) and it may take a while for some reason),
sending and receiving messages via Bluetooth works, and sending from Android to
KDE works, but the KDE side doesn't see the transfer as successful for some
reason.

Ivo, I am a bit surprised by this. The new insn decoder bits are not
dependent on the host's hw caps -- this is handled by dis_ESC_0F, which is
available at any hwcaps level (for example, it handles RDTSC, SYSCALL, and
conditional branches). Are you sure guest_amd64_toIR.c got recompiled here?

[kstars] [Bug 380191] New: Changes in config path Ekos astrometry options not taken in account

2017-05-25 Thread Patrick
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380191

Bug ID: 380191
Summary: Changes in config path Ekos astrometry options not
taken in account
   Product: kstars
   Version: git
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: mutla...@ikarustech.com
  Reporter: p...@sfr.fr
  Target Milestone: ---

Tried to change the path to the config file of astrometry.net without success.
It looks like the path is not updated while the value in the input text box is
right. The Apply button doesn't change anything.
When truin to solve a field the solver search for /usr/astrometry.cfg instead
of /usr/share/astrometry.cfg which is the path I have entered in the option
tab.
