This behaviour had never happened before I installed milou and its plasma
applet to the panel. The applet worked fine immediately after installation, but
after reboot I suspect it to be the cause of the crashes.
I experienced this 3 times in a row before using another desktop to remove
these entries for milou from plasma-desktop-appletsrc, remove miourc, and
uninstall milou and its plasma applet.

Also see similar if I use a toolbar button to "advance to next article".

This feels like QtWebengine being slow? Or an impact of it's use?

k3b -platform wayland is able to work correctly under weston

KXmlGuiWindow in the center of screen

[plasmashell] [Bug 380877] Media keys perform action twice

2017-06-06 Thread Adrian Piotrowicz
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380877

I've found someone with same problem on Manjaro (I've even copied part of
report from there):
https://forum.manjaro.org/t/media-controls-are-broken-kde/24121

This behavior started somewhere along 5.9 versions, however I'm not sure when.

Spotify reacts for each action twice, play/pause, skip.
Amarok navigates between tracks just fine - play/pause happens as I've
described. I have a feeling that Amarok needs more time to react thus one
signal get lost/ignored, because even play/pause works fine from time to time.

What can I do to help you investigate?

seems to be the right button, even if I set it to disabled in wacom settings it
still registers as right click in krita. The bottom button won't work no matter
what I define it as, I've used the tablet with no problem in other programs
it's just this one that it doesn't work.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers for my wacom device and
uninstalling\reinstalling krita but neither changed anything

Status: UNCONFIRMED

Screenshot (Dolphin)

I am running KDE Plasma version 5.10.0 on Manjaro Linux and version 5.10.1 on
KRevenge Linux (an Arch derivative).

Using "Details view mode" in Dolphin and adding the column Image -> Image size,
Dolphin returns the wrong image size of RAW (.RAF image files produced using
Fujifilm cameras). It reports 1920 x 1080 even though the RAW image full size
is, in the case of 16 MP images (for instance, Fujifilm X100S and X100T
cameras), 4992 x 3296. I am making one of my Fujifilm RAW files available so
that the KDE developers can reproduce the bug. It can be obtained at

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2w8x91i44kvgtgg/_FFX4030.RAF?dl=0

When I run exiftool on this file I see the following in the output:

Raw Image Full Size : 4992x3296

I am attaching a screenshot. Notice the information in the "Image Size" column.

See attached screenshot for my display setup.

The HDMI-0 monitor is not always on. If I want to activate it is often the
case, that with activation of HDMI-0 the DisplayPort-0 monitor turns off (not
in the GUI or the virtual display, there are still windows on it etc. but the
monitor itself goes in standby).

This behaviour is not always reproducible. It happens most of the times. My fix
is to deactivate HDMI-0 again, press apply and reactive HDMI-0 and press apply.
Sometimes this is enough, sometimes I have to deactivate and reactive a third
or forth time.

AFAIK this comes with the 5.8 or 5.9 update, for sure I know this was not the
case with earlier 5.x versions.

I'll try to test with 5.8.

It is possible to active the navigator panel in all contact components and it
appears right aligned in all components, except the Kalendar-component.

I have not managed to realign it.

See attached screenshot for clarification.

HTML in E-Mails is the standard way to format mails, but it has some security
impact and is unreadable in raw form.

Markdown could help here. It is readable in raw form, can be written directly
but can also be displayed nicely formatted.

It would be cool, if kmail supports the view of markdown formatted mails in a
formatted way.

[kmail2] [Bug 380912] Wordwrap with citation failure

2017-06-06 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380912

Possible workarounds:
1. Add a "> ".
2. Completely ignore citation lines. This is especially useful, if the line
gets longer with the iteration of citations, like:
> > > > > this is the 5th reply of the original message and now longer than 78

[kmail2] [Bug 380912] New: Wordwrap with citation failure

2017-06-06 Thread bugzilla_noreply

Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

 Component: composer

Wordwrap with citation does not work correctly for me.

To reproduce:
- Deactivate automatic wordwrap.
- (Intelligent citing is activated)
- Answer to a mail with long lines
- Toggle wordwrap.

What happens are lines like this:
 code begin
> This was a very long long long line, that has to be word
wrapped.
 code end

So kmail wraps but breaks the cite with the wrap (althought the color of the
line is correct). If needed I can attach a screenshot.

[krusader] [Bug 380911] New: F5/6 does not work for FTP upload

2017-06-06 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380911

Bug ID: 380911
Summary: F5/6 does not work for FTP upload
   Product: krusader

  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: net-connection

Following situation: local files on the right side, a connected FTP server
directory on the left side. If I select anything on the right side and press F5
or F6, a transfere notification popps up but no upload starts, the progress
indicator just runs from left ro right and vice versa (seemls like it tries to
collect inormation before transfere, but never realy starts). Strange thing:
drag the same file/directory on the right side and drop it on the left using
the mouse perfectly works (transfere notification popps up and progress
indicator starts to show progress of the first file). Downloading something
from the same FTP directory works with F5/F6 key as well als using drag and
drop. This problem seems to affect only FTP, SMB does not show this behaviour.

When browsing through articles using arrow keys in Akregator it takes a couple
of seconds for it to move on to next / previous article, making it a unusably
sluggish experience.

I checked and saw a much earlier bug report for something similar which
involved ibus - not relevant in my case, I don't use ibus and it's still going
on.
Also, this is happening in version 5.5.1 so it's very up-to-date. Please fix
this, thx

[systemsettings] [Bug 380907] New: custom key shortcuts: window-binding disappears

2017-06-06 Thread bugzilla_noreply
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380907

Bug ID: 380907
Summary: custom key shortcuts: window-binding disappears
   Product: systemsettings
   Version: 5.9.4
  Platform: Kubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal

  Assignee: k...@michael-jansen.biz

  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 105955
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=105955=edit
The custom shortcut window constraint

Overview:
The custom shortcuts have an option to only activate in specified windows.
These are not saved when exiting the preferences.

Steps to Reproduce:
Open preferences. Create a custom shortcut. Create a new window constraint for
it. Exit the configuration, e.g. select an example shortcut. Reselect your new
shortcut again, the window constraint is gone.

Actual Results:
Creating a new window constraint doesn't update the 'Accept' box in the lower
right corner. Saving the shortcut by changing the performed action and then
accepting still doesn't save the window constraint. The comment above the
window constraint is not saved either.

Expected Results:
The window constraint should be saved and update the 'Accept' box. It is used
to specify for which windows a custom key shortcut should be performed.

Hmm, these commands work manually but do not work from inside partition
manager. The reason is that partition manager is running as root while
automounter is running as normal user. Well it would of course work if we port
to KAuth/Polkit but that is a very big task... I probably need to find some
interim solution.

today the limit is 78. This is probably a good default (as it's standard?). But
why I'm not allowed to enter higher values? VT100 terminals with 80 chars per

I understand the problem. Yes, if a tag is no longer present, it is not deleted
from the database. There are users who only store their metadata in the
database. The database would be empty if the metadata was re-read from the
images. We need a new option in the settings. Let's see if I can still make it
into the 5.6.0 release.

Does that imply that I am missing debug symbols in the Bug 380444 bug report as
well?

This was a different problem on a completely different machine (and a different
distro). I just want to make sure if I'm reporting bugs that they are useful
information rather than spam.

Also, the machine that generated this Fedora bug report will likely not come
back online any time soon. It ended up having a hardware issue and purchasing
the replacement hardware is not a high priority. I may just do a data backup
and junk the machine.

I would consider this older bug report closed for me unless the other person on
CC has something to add.

Yes that's not the problem in this bug. The problem is that rescanning a
tagless file still keeps Digikam displaying the removed tags, so Digikam must
be loading them from database.
