[plasma4] [Bug 380906] Plasma desktop crashed on start-up
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380906 andrew brewsterchanged: What|Removed |Added Keywords||reproducible Component|general |containment-panel Platform|unspecified |Mageia RPMs --- Comment #1 from andrew brewster --- This behaviour had never happened before I installed milou and its plasma applet to the panel. The applet worked fine immediately after installation, but after reboot I suspect it to be the cause of the crashes. I experienced this 3 times in a row before using another desktop to remove these entries for milou from plasma-desktop-appletsrc, remove miourc, and uninstall milou and its plasma applet. [plasmashell] [Bug 380877] Media keys perform action twice
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380877 --- Comment #3 from Adrian Piotrowicz--- I've found someone with same problem on Manjaro (I've even copied part of report from there): https://forum.manjaro.org/t/media-controls-are-broken-kde/24121 This behavior started somewhere along 5.9 versions, however I'm not sure when. Spotify reacts for each action twice, play/pause, skip. Amarok navigates between tracks just fine - play/pause happens as I've described. I have a feeling that Amarok needs more time to react thus one signal get lost/ignored, because even play/pause works fine from time to time. What can I do to help you investigate? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Using "Details view mode" in Dolphin and adding the column Image -> Image size, Dolphin returns the wrong image size of RAW (.RAF image files produced using Fujifilm cameras). The HDMI-0 monitor is not always on. If I want to activate it is often the case, that with activation of HDMI-0 the DisplayPort-0 monitor turns off (not in the GUI or the virtual display, there are still windows on it etc. but the monitor itself goes in standby). This behaviour is not always reproducible. It happens most of the times. My fix is to deactivate HDMI-0 again, press apply and reactive HDMI-0 and press apply. Sometimes this is enough, sometimes I have to deactivate and reactive a third or forth time. AFAIK this comes with the 5.8 or 5.9 update, for sure I know this was not the case with earlier 5.x versions. I'll try to test with 5.8. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

These are not saved when exiting the preferences. Steps to Reproduce: Open preferences. Create a custom shortcut. Create a new window constraint for it. Exit the configuration, e.g. select an example shortcut. Reselect your new shortcut again, the window constraint is gone. Actual Results: Creating a new window constraint doesn't update the 'Accept' box in the lower right corner. Saving the shortcut by changing the performed action and then accepting still doesn't save the window constraint. The comment above the window constraint is not saved either. Expected Results: The window constraint should be saved and update the 'Accept' box. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371745 --- Comment #3 from Alex Bikadorov--- @Patryk: so, you actually say it is not a real bug(?) kio-extras is mentioned in the INSTALL file and distro packages should recommend it as optional dependency. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 380876] Tags in Digikam DB maintained after being removed from file and file re-scanned
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380876 --- Comment #3 from Maik Qualmann--- I understand the problem. Yes, if a tag is no longer present, it is not deleted from the database. There are users who only store their metadata in the database. The database would be empty if the metadata was re-read from the images. We need a new option in the settings. Let's see if I can still make it into the 5.6.0 release. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[kwin] [Bug 369088] After upgrading from fedora 20 to 24 everything crashes on startup, KDE unusable
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=369088 --- Comment #4 from Brian G.--- (In reply to Christoph Feck from comment #3) > *** Bug 380444 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Does that imply that I am missing debug symbols in the Bug 380444 bug report as well? This was a different problem on a completely different machine (and a different distro). I just want to make sure if I'm reporting bugs that they are useful information rather than spam. Also, the machine that generated this Fedora bug report will likely not come back online any time soon. It ended up having a hardware issue and purchasing the replacement hardware is not a high priority. I may just do a data backup and junk the machine. I would consider this older bug report closed for me unless the other person on CC has something to add. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[valgrind] [Bug 380869] valgrind has issues with mesa comiled with CFLAGS="-march=corei7"
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380869 --- Comment #11 from Austin English--- @Henri, I've attached logs use radeonsi_dri.so instead of swrast (which is what I was using before investigating the issue). This contains the repe instruction as before. I've also attached the library itself (built with march), xz compressed. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[digikam] [Bug 380876] Tags in Digikam DB maintained after being removed from file and file re-scanned
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=380876 --- Comment #2 from Sebas--- Yes that's not the problem in this bug. The problem is that rescanning a tagless file still keeps Digikam displaying the removed tags, so Digikam must be loading them from database. Please read description again. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
