If I left click on a photo I get this message 
"There are two actions (Cut,Delete) that want to use the same shortcut
(Shift+Del). This is most probably a bug.." 
and Gwenview is not opening, but as soon as I click OK on the message Gwenview
open the photo.
I am using Mint 18.2 beta in VirtualBox.

Hello,

It seems there are problems with rendering stored ID3 cover art. All is fine
with the collections panel. Some are missing on the playlist and seems
simultaneously on system notifications and on current track area. Image sizes
are different for each album and on the first import I had set to write album
cover art in files (if done it has overwritten since all had embedded album
covers). Now the option is off.

KDE Neon 5.10.2, KDE Connect for Android 1.6.4, there is simply no way in the
tray plasmoid to send SMS as you can on Ubuntu for example, and I understood it
to be a feature of KDE Connect.

The function works just excellent via kdeconnect-cli, and I can send
notifications both ways in the tray, as well as open the file browser, it seems
that this and the SMS reply functions are missing though.

If this is a whishlist due to the feature being missing (Which seems odd,
seeing as KDE Neon is made by well, you guys, as is KDE connect) please
reclassify as such if possible.

When you upload an image to Imgur with the "Export Image - Share" menu, the

Imgur fully supports HTTPS. It should be used in place of HTTP when you pick
that option with the Export -> Share menu, and also to upload the image in

Thanks for looking into this.
You must understand,that after 8 years, we simply have given up, and also don’t
consider it to be our job. We’ve long switched to something more sensible, and
at least I consider KDE dead now. So it’d be a waste of time. (Ranting still
feels good though. :P)

Also, I have a layout with three different kinds of shift keys, where this bug
disables way more than just certain numpad combinations.

Sorry, I rechecked everything now, font setting I get in settings.ini is:

gtk-font-name=Roboto Condensed Regular 11

both in ubuntu and in debian. And no actual Condensed font used.
Font installed from distribution package by standart method.
Attached file is wrong because i was heavily experimenting with configuration.

Just a reminder. Ideal fix in reports would be to use the visible field for the
display. KDb and thus Kexi includes both bound and visible fields when needed,
this way in case of editable content bound+visible fields can be used for combo
boxes.

Sometimes the "Edit Shapes Tool" can't select "consecutive" vector segments
(tested on Ubuntu 14.04 - krita-4.0.0-prealpha-x86_64.appimage).

Steps to reproduce:

1) keep deforming around the segments of a shape on vector layer.

Actual Results: at a certain point the "Edit Shapes Tool" fails to select some
segments (please, see also the video in attachment).
Expected Results: always let to select the segments.

Interesting idea. I think OS X also places a dedicated full height "Close"
button there instead of a tiny X. Visual design group is currently redesigning

to the android phone on its own.

Actual behavior: instead, I must turn on the screen of my phone in order for
the desktop application to connect.

I have added a table and query.  The query joins your original table and the
new table and changed the report source to the query, then changed on field in
the report to a field in the query, Erscheinung.

I hoped to not add the table, but because in your main table, the field type is
Text, and not Integer for the erscheinung field, it was not possible to join
your main table and z_erscheinung, so the new table is the same, but the id
field is type Text  this is not optimal, it would be better if in your main
table, the type was int for the foreign key fields.

But it works, and shows how it can be done.

PS, for clarification: it happens with all KDE applications run as user too in
that case (when they show a KMessageBox), e.g. if you try to delete a file in
dolphin.

This delay also occurs if you login to a desktop session that has no
org.freedesktop.Notifications service, like IceWM e.g.

I think the reason is the new org.kde.plasma.Notifications.service in
plasma-workspace which waits for the service to appear with a 25s timeout.
Deleting it fixes the delays.

Btw, I think bug#381115 is the same issue.

I'm not a guru :)... I only find linux as a great OS and this is my first time
to submit a bug.

1) When I open kalarm on desktop it fails with three times repeated dialog boxe
with "luck of templates" message. 

2) After hitting the only button "OK" at each of the three instances the kalarm
(KDE) desktop aplication opens.

3) After selecting "configure kalarm" from menu it disappears and does not
exist as a process either (checked with KSystemGuard app )

Implement XCB framebuffer plugin (port from x11)

Previously used x11 plugin does not compile with Qt5, because Qt5 does
not use Xlib, it uses xcb. Rewrite screen capture plugin from Xlib to
xcb.

I made xcb libs compile required dependency, but availability of X
shared memory extension is checked at runtime. It is used to effectively
get image pixels data, instead of transfering 8Mb over the wire. Xdamage
is used to limit image getting operations only within actually changed
rectangles of screen.

Tested on single-monitor system and dual-monitor, where primary monitor
does not start at (0,0) coordinate. Image transfer works fine.
Dual-monitor only has problems with receiving mouse cursor position and
clicks, but this should be fixed outside of framebuffer plugin.

Yes, I will take a look. Note that this might slow down heavily 
the inner operations, as any VEX allocate will imply significantly
heavier work : take a stack trace, record it, etc ...
I will watch the impact
(of course, no impact expected unless configured as an inner valgrind)

Ian,
If the new table has all the fields used by given query then the query is
correct. If not, then the query needs manual correction, there's nothing
computers can "guess". 

By extension, if the query that report(s) use is invalid, reports won't be able
to execute them so they won't switch to data view. Correct query first...

Regarding backups of .kexi files, it's as simple as backing up files (e.g.
copying). Close Kexi first before copying opened files. Mostly it means you
will save unsaved data or designs before.

Copying reports from other projects (e.g. files) is not yet supported in the
GUI. I can do that for you once or two times if really needed. It would be good
if you file a wish about the feature.

Is there a possibility to make the dismiss button much larger for usability
reasons? I attached an image showing a redesign of the download panel of
firefox. It used to have "action" buttons (eg open folder) similar to the red x
button plasma has in the notifications. They changed it to a much larger
rectangular area.

That's intentional. Clicking the notification will now invoke the default
action if there is one. Granted, we don't use it that often yet but 3rd party
apps happily do so. If there isn't, it will not do anything, to avoid confusion
(actioning vs just closing).

Up to some point, notifications would be dismissed when you clicked on them.
That was really useful notifications would popup while you were working on sth
and often they would get in the way. You just clicked them and you were ready
to continue with you work. Now, you have to aim for the small red x icon, which
is much slower and more frustrating, especially on laptops without an external
mouse.

I think the issue is that "Present windows" just ignores the keyboard input all
along. 

When it's working, You can type window names and discards the ones that don't
match the query. This is why I don't need a taskbar and why I assigned the 
Alt+tab shortcut :(.

I hope the status soon changes from unconfirmed.

I think the issue is that "Present windows" just ignores the keyboard input all
along. 

When it's working, You can type window names and discards the ones that don't
match the query. This is why I don't need a taskbar and why I assigned the 
Alt+tab shortcut :(.

I hope the status soon changes from unconfirmed.

I used the network in the places panel to find all my network printers. (URL:
"network:/")

Dolphin is able to find them and show several icons/services to access the
printer inclusive the http management site.

However, a click opens firefox with the default (search) page instead of the
printers page.

ps -auxx reveals the argument:
- /usr/lib64/firefox/firefox http://:@epson402b02.local:80

If I manually enter these slightly different commands in a terminal then it
works:
- /usr/lib64/firefox/firefox http://@epson402b02.local:80
- /usr/lib64/firefox/firefox http://epson402b02.local:80

Conclusion:
Dolphin should remove the ":" or ":@" after "http://; when calling the web
browser.


PS: the web browser konqueror can handle all three variants. So it's "only" an
issue if the default web browser is firefox. I haven't made tests with chrome.

When opening the "Make settings" in the "Configure Project" dialog, the "Number
of simultaneous jobs" input field is always grayed out, even if the "Override
number of jobs" checkbox is active. To change the number, I have first uncheck
this box and re-activate it. After that, the number input field is active

I see this issue as well.

This is a problem with libzip4 - as can be guessed from the name, it is
supposed to install the 4th major API version of libzip, which it does on
Ubuntu xenial (as well as on current Ubuntu:
https://packages.ubuntu.com/artful/amd64/libzip4/filelist as version 1.1.2),
and MySQL Workbench relies on libzip.so.4 being available.

Recently Neon has updated libzip to version 1.2, which apparently has a major
upgrade to the API and thus uses major API version 5 (This means its not
promised to be compatible with API version 4 - though as shown in comment #1
and comment #2, it looks like its compatible enough to still get MySQL
workbench loading), but the package name was not changed.

As a result, upgrading libzip4 1.1.2 to libzip4 1.2.0 causes the file
libzip.so.4 to be deleted and the file libzip.so.5 to be installed instead.

I think the solution would be to build a new package - libzip5 that installs
the new version, so that mysql-workbench that depends on libzip4 can still get
libzip.so.4 by asking for libzip4 package.

The correct workaround for now is to "pin" libzip4, for example by running
synaptic, then finding and selecting libzip4, then from the menu choose Package
-> Force version and select one of the 1.1.2 versions.

First, Thank you for a wonderful video editor.

Whenever I use Kdenlive in Linux Mint 18.1 (Ubuntu 16.04) or Linux Mint 17.3
(Ubuntu 14.04) while previewing a video clip to add a voice over audio clip and
I try to capture audio from my microphone, Kdenlive crashes. In Kdenlive ver17
I cannot even select audio only without getting the error "Capture crashed,
please check parameters". If I check both video and audio it allows me to click
record in clip monitor, but when I click project monitor to play, it locks up
(crashes) without creating or capturing the webcam video and or audio clip.

I am using KDE Connect to move files
ticket_a.pdf

to my phone, so I browse till folder
/foo/my_folder
then I create new folder
/foo/my_folder/tickets
and when I am under that folder, I try to right click the mouse to paste files,
but the paste action is grayed and it is not possible to use it.
If go back to
/foo/my_folder
I can paste the two files there, and then drag and drop them under
/foo/my_folder/tickets

First time I mentioned it some monthes ago, when I was running Thunderbird with
the addon MinimizeToTray revived (MinTrayR). The icon didn't show up anymore.
This was an error of the addon, because VLC, Pidgin, and wineHQ worked as
expected. I changed the addon to FireTray and Thunderbird works again with a
(much better) tray icon, too.

Last weekend I did backups on my Archlinux but now the icon for VLC, Pidgin and
Thunderbird are missing.

The apps (especially Pidgin and Thunderbird) act like the icons are anywhere.
When I press "close" they're minimized to a invisible tray, so I have to use
the regular link to start the app, only to get the window back on sight.
Dropbox icon works fine, the wine icon uses it's own solution: It puts its own
"Windows" tray as window on my desktop.

After the updates I installed wxgtk3 and wxgtk-common, too, because I read in
any forum, some apps are using old libraries for the icons. After a reboot
Pidgin's icon showed up in system tray one time. I tought "solved", but after
the next reboot same behaviour came back and it's still the same until now.

I created some new user and started Pidgin with the same effect: no tray icon.

Reproduction:
Pidgin: Simply start Pidgin - it works only with tray icon, and it is anywhere,
but not visible
VLC: activate the tray icon - and don't see it anywhere
Thunderbird: Install the addon "FireTray" and set it up to show the icon
everytime.

Yes, thanks. Most importantly the maximizing effect.

Further info: For METHOD 'A':
I discovered that you can cause the bug simply by grabbing the 
 lower right corner of the MDI sub window and expanding its
 geometry /beyond/ the size of the MDI area. 
As soon as that is done, the window freezes.
>From the right-click context menu, selecting 'Cascade' or 
 'Tile' un-freezes it.

So the bug seems to be oh-so-borderline sensitive to
 over-sized geometry. To within a few pixels. Maybe explains
 why it seems to work in some conditions (say, with Oxygen) 
 but not others.
