Hi Im using KDE on Linux in a Win10 VBox. I installed Skrooge and was trying to
setup 3 currencies into the Unit page. It shows up with my default currency
(BRL) and when I got to create a new one (USD) but when I try to add a third
one (i.g. MXN) it replaces the one Ive just entered and saved not allowing me
to add more than 1 type. Also I noticed that the modify button wasn't enabled
(it remains grayed all the time even I select one and change something).
As you can see I dont know much about Linux so please, give me a step by step
how to solve ;-p

Same issue here, LG G3 (d855) running latest LineageOS, full permissions
granted to the app, and with on the other side a PC with an updated Neon user
(the same issue occurs with Kubuntu 16.04 on another laptop).

In my case, the files/dirs in the SDcard are listed as not writable, and even
as root I can not write any change to that FS:

> vale@Gatsu:~/.config/kdeconnect/fba3e36ee035c1b4/kdeconnect_sftp/fba3e36ee035c1b4/storage/5255-1406
> 23:46-$ la
> total 1.4G
> -r 1 root root 547K Mar 29 12:24 addonsu-arm-signed.zip

On the other hand, the contents of the phone's internal storage are listed as
writable, and are writable as normal user even if listed as being root-owned:

> vale@Gatsu:~/.config/kdeconnect/fba3e36ee035c1b4/kdeconnect_sftp/fba3e36ee035c1b4/storage/emulated/0

> total 8
> drwx-- 1 root root 0 Jan 14 1970 Alarms

I have this relevant line from mount:

At one time the Application Launcher would stay open until you were done with
it. It is quite annoying now, when configuring the desktop after an

The recent wave of random KDE Plasma crashes exposed a new bug.

Plasmashell fails to recover from a crash and restart. It leaves a user with a
black desktop; and Kwin totally fine and running flawlessly (present windows

The only way to get Plasma work is either start it manually using a command
"kstart5 plasmashell", or log out and log in back.

i think that the good display should must be 02:00 after 24:00 ad not 26:00 and
more.

Thank you.

[plasmashell] [Bug 381656] New: No indicator of audio being played - Reproducible

2017-06-25 Thread Kamil
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381656

Bug ID: 381656
Summary: No indicator of audio being played - Reproducible
   Product: plasmashell
   Version: 5.10.2
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Icons-only Task Manager
  Assignee: h...@kde.org
  Reporter: redredempt...@protonmail.com
CC: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Created attachment 106295
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=106295=edit
Ridicously small panel

As summary says, icons-only task manager fails to mark applications that play
audio. It's a consistent impediment since that little indicator is only present
if icons are either ridiculously huge or tiny. (Scaling down and up a panel)

[kdeconnect] [Bug 381542] File transfer not working between computers

2017-06-25 Thread eemantsal
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381542

Ok, I stopped kdeconnectd in both PCs and started it again from Konsole as you
said; then I linked again both computers and tried to send from Dolphin a test
file from PC A to PC B with the same repoerted results.
After I click on Send vía kdeconnect, the output in Konsole is as follows:

PC A (sender):
incomingConnection
nextPendingConnection (emtpy: false )

PC B:
kdeconnect.plugin.share: File transfer
kdeconnect.core: FileTransferJob Downloading payload to
QUrl("file:///home/user/Descargas/Archivo_de_prueba")
kdeconnect.core: error... "The host name did not match any of the valid hosts
for this certificate"

After verifying that the transfer is again stalled I stop it in PC B (receiver)
as said in my first message, clicking the stop button in the Plasma
notifications widget. Then Konsole returns this:

QDBusAbstractAdaptor: Cannot relay signal SharePlugin::shareReceived(QUrl):
Type not registered with QtDBus in parameter list: QUrl
kdeconnect.plugin.share: File transfer finished. Success: false
QUrl("file:///home/user/Descargas/Archivo_de_prueba")

In the sender PC nothing changes.

Then I tried the contrary way, sending from PC B to A expecting everything were
the same, but there's a difference, a new error message in the first output
message as you can see here.

PC B's Konsole output (now sending):
incomingConnection
nextPendingConnection (emtpy: false )
error uploading QAbstractSocket::RemoteHostClosedError

That 3rd line wasn't present in the A -> B scenario.
The rest of the output is the same than before excepting the different path to
save files:

PC A (now receiving):
kdeconnect.plugin.share: File transfer
kdeconnect.core: FileTransferJob Downloading payload to
QUrl("file:///home/user/Descargas/KDE Connect/Archivo_de_prueba")
kdeconnect.core: error... "The host name did not match any of the valid hosts
for this certificate"

Stopping the transfer:
PC A:
QDBusAbstractAdaptor: Cannot relay signal SharePlugin::shareReceived(QUrl):
Type not registered with QtDBus in parameter list: QUrl
kdeconnect.plugin.share: File transfer finished. Success: false
QUrl("file:///home/user/Descargas/KDE Connect/Archivo_de_prueba")

Git commit 8fb63b082cdda6771a4833d0a0cb57886a1647e0 by Albert Astals Cid, on
behalf of Valeriy Malov.
Committed on 25/06/2017 at 15:53.

Emit errors when keditbookmarks is missing

KBookmarkManager::slotEditBookmarks is supposed to run keditbookmarks,
but does not emit any errors when if it's missing
This makes "Edit bookmarks" menu fail silently in applications that use
KBookmarks (e.g. krdc, konsole)

[valgrind] [Bug 368529] Android arm target link error, missing atexit and pthread_atfork

2017-06-25 Thread Elliott Hughes
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368529

(/me checks check-in comment from
https://android-review.googlesource.com/393156...)

yeah, looks like i misremembered: it was SSE4 that was missing. from the bug
that links to, it was specifically these instructions:

for (i = 0; i < len; ++i)
any_set |= buf[i];
   d2c70: 66 0f 38 21 51 fc pmovsxbd -0x4(%ecx),%xmm2
   d2c76: 66 0f 38 21 19 pmovsxbd (%ecx),%xmm3

clang has a habit of choosing more exotic instructions that gcc for arm32 too.
(that's what's changed recently: the compiler, not the compiler flags.)

[lokalize] [Bug 368842] Behavior of navigation in lokalize is broken

2017-06-25 Thread Freek de Kruijf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368842

--- Comment #4 from Freek de Kruijf ---
The behavior has changed when only a .pot file is present or a file is
overwritten when lokalize is active on that files, belongs to the open project.
Packet is lokalize-17.04.2-1.1, version is 2.0.
After opening the .pot file, entering some data and saving the file as a .po
file, lokalize shows the project tab and in the tab it behaves as if the
project is completely reopened. Afterwards it shows the tab window with the
highlighted file on the just saved .po files, as it should. However after
opening another .po file and after saving, again the window with the project
tab is completely rewritten and the highlighted line is on the previously saved
.pot file, while it used to be and should be on the just closed .po file.
Also after processing another .pot file, the highlighted line is not on the
just closed .po file but on the first closed .pot.
The project window shows also expanded folders that were not expanded when
choosing the just closed .po file.

I suspect that it should have been fixed long time ago, because I can't
reproduce it with kreversi-4:16.08.0-1+b1 (current Debian testing). I played as
black against the white (computer) at the highest level, started a new game in
the lowest level, and the game started.
Neither I can reproduce it with the frameworks branch.
Feel free to reopen if you can hit the issue again.

Konsole seems to randomly display graphical glitches. The glitches are colored
lines. Hitting enter seems to get rid of them, but then they will come back
after hitting enter again at some point.

I should note that I'm using 1.3 screen scaling on my machine.

Gilles,
I saw that it could be displayed in the tool tips, but it's a lot less
convenient to have to hover over every single picture rather than seeing them
all at once. I also think it would be more useful than aspect ratio. Finally
since these are all check boxes, the user can decide how much or how little to
display.
I'm hoping you'll reconsider your position.
Thanks,
Mathieu

I wonder if this bug would be fixed by either removing the bit that resets it
whenever a non-QWheelEvent event takes place, or by also not resetting it when
a TabletMove event happens.
The function is in libs/ui/input/kis_input_manager.cpp if anyone would like to
take a look at it.

[plasma-nm] [Bug 381642] New: rectangle around connection search box

2017-06-25 Thread Martin Bednar
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=381642

Bug ID: 381642
Summary: rectangle around connection search box
   Product: plasma-nm
   Version: 5.10.2
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: minor
  Priority: NOR
 Component: editor
  Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com
  Reporter: martin+...@serafean.cz
  Target Milestone: ---

Created attachment 106290
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=106290=edit
illustration

Very minor ui inconsistency.
In the connection editor, the search box is surrounded by a rectangular box,
which is visible when using the breeze dark theme.
For comparison, the "Connection name" label has no such surrounding box. See
screenshot.
