[frameworks-ktexteditor] [Bug 382405] vertical scrollbar occasionally not rendering properly
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=382405 Kåre Särschanged: What|Removed |Added CC||kare.s...@iki.fi --- Comment #9 from Kåre Särs --- Hi, I think this might be a timing problem. There are timers to start the update of the mini-map and now it seems that there has been an update while the view is still small and then the view resize is not noticed properly... :( Are you able to (reliably?) reproduce the situation? Something like: "Starting with a session with a lot of documents open" or something similar -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383575 --- Comment #6 from Martin Flöser--- oh yaeh sorry I mixed it up with powermanagement. Nevertheless I still think the spec looked differently in the past. @Nicolas: there is nothing we can do here. Our software works exactly as it should. The bug is with mpv and xdg-screensaver. [frameworks-kunitconversion] [Bug 377823] "40c" not interpreted as a temperature the way "40C" is
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=377823 --- Comment #2 from Nate Graham--- So this is a conflict, because Celsius is defined with a capital C, but the speed of light is defined with a lowercase one: addCommonUnit(CustomUnit(new CelsiusUnitPrivate(TemperatureCategory, Celsius, 1, i18nc("temperature unit symbol", "°C"), i18nc("unit description in lists", "Celsius"), i18nc("unit synonyms for matching user input", "Celsius;°C;C"), addUnit(CustomUnit(VelocityCategory, SpeedOfLight, 2.99792458e+08, i18nc("velocity unit symbol", "c"), i18nc("unit description in lists", "speed of light"), i18nc("unit synonyms for matching user input", "speed of light;c"), Not sure there is any way to resolve this without simply removing the speed of light velocity. As fallback there is a file ui_standards.rc installed in /etc/xdg/ui/ui_standards.rc, but on starting an application Qt searches this file in /bin/xdg/ui/ui_standards.rc. I don't think that is was a good decision by Qt to place all files below bin while the rest of oss packages uses /share for data. This could be partial corrected by using a qt.conf file which is unfortunally not used by QStandardPath. It puts an additional burden on package maintainer and porter beside the huge work to make all this Qt5/KF5 changes working on Windows. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=80657 Nate Grahamchanged: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |FIXED Status|CONFIRMED |RESOLVED --- Comment #22 from Nate Graham --- Actually, it looks like this was recently fixed in https://phabricator.kde.org/D6553 for KDE programs using KStandardShortcut::tabNext() and KStandardShortcut::tabPrev(), which many common KDE programs are already using. I checked, and this should affect: - Kate - Dolphin - Konversation - Konqueror Konsole does not use those macros, so it will need another change. For that, I have filed https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383603 I'm going to mark this issue as resolved, and we can track any straggler apps not using KStandardShortcut::tabNext() and KStandardShortcut::tabPrev() with their own bugs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

This new shortcut works in Konsole, because ctrl+pgup/pgdn don't send any special shell signals or anything. Therefore, Konsole should adopt the same shortcuts to be consistent with other KDE software (and most software that uses tabs, these days). [krita] [Bug 383601] New: [Wishbug] Auto activate and select tools if user clicks on corresponding presets
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383601 Bug ID: 383601 Summary: [Wishbug] Auto activate and select tools if user clicks on corresponding presets Product: krita Version: git master Platform: Other OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: usability Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: raghavendr.ra...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- This was a enhancement request from a reddit user, which I think is an interesting idea and will improve the usability. The idea is to auto-activate corresponding tool when user clicks on a preset. For example if a user has move tool active, and he clicks on a brush preset, the brush tool should get automatically selected, If he clicks on a gradient preset the gradient tool should get auto activated, selecting pattern should auto-activate fill tool (possibly with fill pattern enabled) clicking and dragging a symbol from vector library should have shape handling tool selected. etc This will reduce the amount of clicks while using Krita. Right now one has to choose the tool to activate it and also click on preset, clicking on a preset will most probably mean that the user needs to use the preset, so enabling this auto activating behaviour will enable him to use the preset right away in one single click.
