[plasmashell] [Bug 413733] GLOBAL MENU CROOSPLATFORM HELP DEMAND
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413733 --- Comment #2 from n1coc4cola --- Sorry, now it's 8:05, I'll can explain it better. So, with "globalize" I mean that I want to make an app which handles these services, but, without having any dependencies in relation to the environment where the app is currently running. With that, the different distributions (OS and env.) will be able to install just one DBus service and have access to a Global Menu that is currently exclusive to KDE Plasma 5.9+ and Gnome (with the Vala Panel). I hope that is more clear for you now. Thank you for your replies. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 413745] Add shortcuts for left / right page rotation
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413745 --- Comment #7 from David Hurka --- Sorry, Falkon does not load the gitlab MR. To answer Postix’ question: > If set to AltGr+L the shortcut representation becomes ł and and for AltGr+R > it becomes ¶. > This is really hard for a user to figure out, what needs to be pressed. > Is it possible to instead display AltGr+L and AltGr+R? Or is it complicated > due to different keyboard layouts? This will probably not be possible. There are keyboard layouts without AltGr. Qt does not know this key as modifier. And besides that, AltGr is a very uncommon modifier. At least, Qt (since Qt5) does not care on which keyboard layer a shortcut key is pressed. For Neo2, 1 is the same as Mod4+M. https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/qt.html#KeyboardModifier-enum -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[digikam] [Bug 413701] digikam 6.3.0 does not build against current plasma
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413701 --- Comment #17 from Maik Qualmann --- (In reply to caulier.gilles from comment #12) > Maik, > > Do you think that we need to create a 6.5.0 branch in git to only apply > small patches in goal to release 6.5.0 before 7.0.0 final planned in > February/March 2020 ? > > Gilles There is certainly one thing that would be good for 6.5.0 (the memory hole in the image editor). But I think the 7.0.0 is already running very well and we should release a Beta1 early. Maik -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Akonadi] [Bug 413750] New: Akonadi crashes after terminating Kontact
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=413750 Bug ID: 413750 Summary: Akonadi crashes after terminating Kontact Product: Akonadi Version: 5.10.3 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: server Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org Reporter: staka...@eclipso.eu Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 123665 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=123665=edit backtrace of the original konqi popup Application: akonadiserver (5.10.3) Qt Version: 5.9.7 Frameworks Version: 5.55.0 Operating System: Linux 4.12.14-lp151.28.20-default x86_64 Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 15.1" -- Information about the crash: - What I was doing when the application crashed: The Kontact suite had, given a memory hole, consumed 8GB of Ram and nearly 4 Gb of Swap. In these conditions the only way to end the nearly unresponsive system and to normalize the memory, was to terminate with ctrl+alt+esc the Kontact suite. Normally when this happens akonadi does not crash (and normaly the memory hole of Kontact is not that catastrophic, thus, I decided to give this backtrace in the hope it may help to understand what actually happens there. - Unusual behavior I noticed: consumption of nearlz 12GB of Ram and SWAP during system idle. This seems to be connected to incomming mail that is then filtered. In these conditions the memory consumption (if system idle) starts. - Custom settings of the application: Large amounts of filters running on incomming mail. Three different income boxes (not an unified one to be clear). Clamav scan for viruses and spamd daemonized for spam. This is an upgrade of 15.0 to 15.1 Leap Opensuse and had the following attention after upgrading: having the baloo indexer crash as companion the searchdb was eliminated and did recreate after the update. So crashes of baloo do not take place any more for a while now. The akonadidatabase is regularly controlled with akonadictl fsck and sometimes with vaccum. There are several collections without RID. When running now the command akonadictl I get an astonishing result: mercurio@roadrunner:~> akonadictl start Akonadi is already running. mercurio@roadrunner:~> akonadictl fsck Akonadi Server is not running, check will not run Which means probably that there is the crashed instance still in memory? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
