https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=406231 Michael changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kde@callthecomputerdoctor.c ||om --- Comment #1 from Michael --- I'm having a similar situation but slightly different. This didn't happen in KDE neon 18.04, but is regular since 20.04. When I log in to a session, the Plasma Networks applet will try to connect to my default wifi network, but it will keep failing. The spinner will spin around, it will fail to connect, it will retry but fail again. I have to click the Disconnect button to get it out of its loop. Then I have to go to the command line and issue a direct command to nmcli, like: $ nmcli device wifi con "my-network" password "the-password" ...then it will connect right away and then all is good. Although totally functional, I think it could be useful to have a "merge" option where you can easily just go from one stock to another when a company is bought out. Benefits would include: (1) Reports could be more accurate as to % gain - because it would consider the price you actually bought the original stock for (and the value of the current stock - company 2 - in calculating % profit) (2) Just generally easier to use, inputting a ratio of shares gained per share owned would be easy to convert your current portfolio of company 1 to shares owned in company 2 (3) There are always fees associated with these mergers, would be nice to capture these during the entry of the "merge" instead of having to input a separate entry for a fee. I'll reproduce the comment here also for posterity: "There is one concern I still have – to be clear this is going from your screenshot only. The position of the Global Mute is the best now for sure. But a concern remains about how it indicates its state. I understand from your screenshot that those devices are at the levels shown, but global mute is enabled. Can this be made a bit clearer so all the bars get greyed out when you enable global mute? I think some redundancy would help there as it’s easy to look at the enabled-looking devices and wonder why your audio isn’t working. Thanks!" Nate's (cc'd) reply: "> Can this be made a bit clearer so all the bars get greyed out when you enable global mute? They do, sort of. When global mute is activated, the sliders enter their disabled state. The disabled state for Plasma Breeze Theme sliders makes the handle partially transparent, but not the bar itself. So this would need to be fixed by changing the appearance of the disabled state for the Plasma Breeze theme styling for the Slider control itself. Can you submit a bug report to Plasmashell | Theme – Breeze asking for that?" As requested. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[digikam] [Bug 415845] configurable "open with" menu
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=415845 Fredrik Viklund changed: What|Removed |Added CC||fred...@viklund.se --- Comment #7 from Fredrik Viklund --- Agree this would be a very valuable setting! In many cases, the default application for opening a photo (e.g. photo viewer) is not the same I use to edit the photo (e.g. Gimp or RawTherapee). Also, it would be extremely useful to be able to choose between two or more applications to edit or process a file. It would be a great addition on all platforms. It can be implemented in many ways. A flexible solution would be: * In settings dialogue, add a tab for "External tools" where the user can define external tools by setting: - Name (in context menu) - path to executable - command line options (including suitable variables for current file name and path) - file types for which the tool should be displayed in the context menu Simpler, but less flexible, is to define some common tools where the user can give the path to the executable. [kmymoney] [Bug 430827] problème sur opération répartie
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430827 --- Comment #5 from Jack --- I think you need to create the attachment at bugs.kde.org. I do not think attachments to email replies get attached to the bug. Also, if replying by email, please do not quote the entire message, as your entire message (including any quoted text) becomes the next comment to the bug. Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[kmymoney] [Bug 430830] Right Click and Double Left in "Securities" Not Working
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430830 --- Comment #3 from Jack --- Just confirming a change from any (recent) previous version would be useful. If you really want to find an exact commit which caused a change, then git does have a bisect command. I don't recall any recent intentional changes in this behavior. (And yes, I confirm that the equities tab shows a context menu on right click and double click edits; the securities tab has no effect with right or double-click, but does show edit and delete buttons to the upper right.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=430830 --- Comment #2 from jmad...@usa.com --- I'd have to go back and check to be honest but I've been using KMyMoney for years and I think I would have noticed this (in my opinion annoying) difference if it had always been there. Does KMyMoney have something similar to bibisect that I can go back and test multiple versions easily? Happy to do so in order to confirm one way or another. But wishlist is fine also. [plasmashell] [Bug 429063] Top panel drag to resize directions should be mirrored
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=429063 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Status|RESOLVED|REOPENED Resolution|FIXED |--- --- Comment #5 from Nate Graham --- Re-opening since the fix was reverted. See Bug 430050. I'm copying David Edmundson's comment over there about options to fix this without regressions: In terms of moving forward and options within the current code. Option 1: Go with your original patch in frameworks. This must remain an exception and not a rule. Guard usage on the client side with ` Component.onCompleted: if (self.hasOwnProperty("reverseDragAndScrollDirections")) { self.reverseDragAndScrollDirections = true; } ` so it's backportable and won't break when we move to generic styles. and drop the stepSize change Option 2: Same but in reverse. Have the style query `control.hasOwnProperty("reverseDragAndScrollDirections") && control.reverseDragAndScrollDirections` Then declare that as a new property in the panel's spinbox. It'd be closer to how Breeze does additional things from widget controls Option3: Spinbox.down.indicator is public API, we can re-implement the relevant FrameSVG code, but swap the +/- and keep the current negative stepsize Option4: override contentItem inside the panel and keep the current negative stepsize -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
