https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453453 Bug ID: 453453 Summary: IPv6 Address field not populated on existing WireGuard entries Product: plasma-nm Version: 5.24.4 Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: editor Assignee: jgrul...@redhat.com Reporter: banderson19...@san.rr.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY *** Opening an existing WireGuard connection which has an IPv6 method set to "Manual" and and address specified, no entries are populated in the Address table on the IPv6 tab of the editor. This makes it impossible to modify the connection because the "Apply" button never becomes active. *** STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Create a WireGuard connection which includes a Manually supplied IPv6 address and save it. 2. Exit the configuration applet and start it again. 3. Go to the newly created WireGuard connection. OBSERVED RESULT Look at the IPv6 tab and verify that the previously entered address is not in the table. This also prevents saving any changes due without putting the IPv6 address back in because the entry is not valid. [ark] [Bug 453452] New: creating 7zip archive of ~/.mozilla or ~/.thunderbird folder fails
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453452 Bug ID: 453452 Summary: creating 7zip archive of ~/.mozilla or ~/.thunderbird folder fails Product: ark Version: 22.04.0 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: plugins Assignee: rthoms...@gmail.com Reporter: s_chriscoll...@hotmail.com CC: aa...@kde.org, elvis.angelac...@kde.org Target Milestone: --- Attempting to create a 7zip archive of either the ~/.mozilla or ~/.thunderbird folder results in a successful message popup ("Compressing 155 files (Finished)"), but the .7z file is never created. This message pops up immediately as well, which means file processing is actually performed. If you try to create the archive by manually launching Ark and clicking "Create New Archive...", when dragging either of the aforementioned folders into Ark, nothing happens. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Make sure you have launched Firefox or Thunderbird at least once to create their configuration folders. 2. In Dolphin, right click either ~/.mozilla (for Firefox) or ~/.thunderbird (for Thunderbird) and select "Compress" -> "Compress to...". 3. When the compression window pops up, choose your preferred filename, select "7-zip archive" for the type and click OK. [KScreen] [Bug 453445] New: Scaling setting is no longer honored after some time
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=453445 Bug ID: 453445 Summary: Scaling setting is no longer honored after some time Product: KScreen Version: 5.24.4 Platform: Debian testing OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: kded Assignee: kscreen-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: bugs.kde-max.seif...@drglitch.net Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY I've witnessed screen scaling to behave strange at times. I run a dual-head setup with HiDPI monitors. The scaling is set to 1.5 in kcm_kscreen. Applications get scaled fine then. After using the machine for some time, any new application started is scaled as if the scaling was set to 1.0. My current work-around is to then close the application, get back to kscreen settings, where I see the scaling as 1.5 (the value I want). I set it to something different → apply. I set it back to 1.5 → apply. Starting another app will render it correctly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. See applications scaled correctly as set in kscreen configuration 2. Work for some time 3. Start any new application GUI process OBSERVED RESULT The started application is not rendered in configured scaling. EXPECTED RESULT The started application is rendered in configured scaling. Excuse the repost if it is.] This wizard can be useful in finding potential targets given the criteria that can be used to filter on: type, region, location, date/time, altitude, coverage, and finally brightness. After filtering the targets are meant to be moved on to the wish list for further planning. The problems I see are: 1. The filtering on brightness does not reduce the number of hits but actually increases the hits so it seems to go in the wrong direction. Below in the scenario when adding the brightness requirement the number of hits increases from 12 to 199 objects. 2. When I disable the brightness-filter and update the count to 12 again; only 1 item is moved to the wish list. I expected 12 objects.
