Pressing Alt+1 in firefox works fine here (Alt+x, switch to tab x).
Pressing Alt+1 in konsole/yakuake only outputs a '1' in the terminal.

[kdevelop] [Bug 371565] New: KDevelop can't find header files if the project path contains spaces

2016-10-24 Thread Bernhard Scheirle via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=371565

Bug ID: 371565
Summary: KDevelop can't find header files if the project path
contains spaces
   Product: kdevelop
   Version: 5.0.2
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdevelop-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: bernhard+...@scheirle.de

In some cases KDevelop can't find header files if the project path contains
spaces.
Building such project works fine.

As far as I can tell this only happens:
- for header files of the current source file (in header.cpp it can't find
header.hpp)
- the include string contains a path (not only the file name) (#include
"folder/header.hpp")

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the attached project in kdevelop (there must be a space in the path to
the project)
2. Open the "folder/header.cpp" file

Actual Results:
KDevelop reports a "file not found" error (in "folder/header.cpp" Line 1)

Expected Results:
KDevelop does not report an "file not found" error

I can't find a package called 'pavcontrol' did you mean 'pavucontrol'?

I didn't do anything special (pavucontrol is not installed) and my microphone

screenshot of commit 4c83bac52716a08a549dca50a76be8aa47c11ca3

For me commit 4c83bac52716a08a549dca50a76be8aa47c11ca3 results in a way better
rendering using the font Hack, but still not 100% correct (slightly overlapping
lines [line 4/5 character j ]).

But using the font Courier New now the lines overlap strongly (even the line
numbers).

Also independent of the font the last line in the document is still
horizontally cut off (If it contains a tall character).

Bernhard Scheirle changed:

It is not a translation error.

English Message:
Failed to transport message. Message sending failed since the following
recipients were rejected by the server: recipi...@host.de (The server
responded: "5.7.1 : Sender address rejected: not owned by user
sen...@host.de")

The Problem is that kmailtransport assumes that the mta immediately reports
errors.
But by default postfix delays the reporting of errors and reports them after
the "RCPT TO:" command. [1]
kmailtransport therefore assumes that there was an error with the recipients.

Forcing postfix to report errors immediately fixes this error, but has other
disadvantages [2].

screenshot of the workaround

Hmm…, I do not like the 1.1 scaling factor. It's quite noticeable and wastes a
lot of space.
(True, for some cases this avoids this bug.)

The attached screenshot compares the input of Bug 365116 with and without this
workaround (for two different fonts).
As noted in the commit itself this is not a proper fix, and the lines still get
cut of as seen in line 4 of the screenshot (underscore not visible).
Therefore I think this Bug should be reopened.

Dragging a url into the smplayer main window work before the upgrade, now the
url can't be dropped.

I assume the problem is that the mime type of the drag event changed.
Currently (after the upgrade) the drag event mime type of a URL (from akregator

I think it should be a list: ("text/uri-list", "text/plain").

[kmail2] [Bug 367559] New: Messageviewer Theme broken since 16.08.0

2016-08-19 Thread Bernhard Scheirle via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=367559

Bug ID: 367559
Summary: Messageviewer Theme broken since 16.08.0
   Product: kmail2
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Neon Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: UI
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: bernhard+...@scheirle.de

This commit
https://quickgit.kde.org/?p=kdepim-addons.git=commitdiff=cab925e9d4769762ea0080d49f392022cd8e78dd
broke the messageviewer theme.

The change:
-#kmailContent {
+div#headerbox #kmailContent {

forces the kmailContent div to be a child of the headerbox div which is not the
case, they are siblings.
Therefore the styles don't get applied to the kmailContent div.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open A Email

Actual Results:
No margin and padding for the message body.

Expected Results:
Nicely styled body

[kmail2] [Bug 366981] Mailto URL does not allows a body with line breaks

I'm also affected by this bug.

I think I found the cause for this, and if so it should be easy to fix.

KMail uses MessageCore::StringUtil::parseMailtoUrl[1] to parse url query
parameters.
In parseMailtoUrl it uses QUrlQuery::queryItems() to get the list of
parameters.
By default queryItems does not decode all "%" elements.[2]

So using QUrlQuery::queryItems(QUrl::FullyDecoded) instead should fix this.

I think the explicit "%0A" to "\n" transformation in Lines 197-202 would than
be obsolete as well. [1]
Especially since mailto urls must have "%0D%0A" and not "%0A" line breaks. [3]

[neon] [Bug 366722] sddm fails to start after kernel upgrade

2016-08-15 Thread Bernhard Scheirle via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=366722

Ok, the problem was that the kernel upgrade did not upgrade my nvidia kernel
module and therefore said module failed to load (reported in
`/var/log/Xorg.0.log`).

Fix/Workaround:
$ sudo aptitude purge nvidia-361
$ sudo shutdown -r now
$ sudo ubuntu-drivers autoinstall

I hope I don't have to do this every kernel upgrade.

After the kernel upgrade to version 4.4.0-34 sddm fails to start (black
screen/frozen loading screen)

See attached upgrade and sddm log

Selecting an older kernel (4.4.0-31) in grup and sddm starts again.

sddm log (probably most interesting lines):
Aug 13 07:12:39 Blackbox sddm-greeter[2920]: QXcbIntegration: Cannot create
platform OpenGL context, neither GLX nor EGL are enabled
Aug 13 07:12:39 Blackbox sddm-greeter[2920]: Failed to create OpenGL context

redBufferSize -1, greenBufferSize -1, blueBufferSize -1, alphaBufferSize -1,
stencilBufferSize 8, samples -1, swapBehavior 2, swapInterval 1, profile 0)

The web recommends adding the sddm user to the video group.
I'll try out if this works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot with kernel 4.4.0-31 (maybe requires an nvidia card with proprietary
drivers)

Actual Results:
Black screen. Somtimes the last image of the loading screen.
Switching to tty1 works.

Expected Results:
A login screen.

Youtube also uses this extension in it's atom feeds:
Example feed:

Currently media elements get simply ignored and therefore the above feed only
contains empty articles.
It would be nice if the thumbnail and description were visible.

This Bug also happens for other `Shift+(neo Mod4 keys)` shortcuts like:
`Shift+Left` -> large "I" can't be entered: Mod4+I = Left

A simple qt application with two QShortcuts: Shift+I and Shift+Left can detect
both shortcuts correctly.
But since in our case Shift+I is not a shortcut I don't know how useful this
information is.

It would be good if you could also verify that this patch works for you.
And maybe even test it with different shortcuts/Layouts to make sure it does

[kmail2] [Bug 340143] After importing accounts and more I am getting flooded by hundrets of empty identities

Ok, I should have read the forum post more carefully: cleaning up the *file*
(not folder) `~/.local/share/emailidentities` does work.

After removing all unnamed identities from that file everything is back to
normal (and they also don't get recreated).

I also used the `pimsettingexporter` to import my pim data and now have 200+
unnamed identities.
At the beginning (after the import) I only had one unnamed identity, but with
every restart of `akonadi` there are more and more.

Export from: Kubuntu 14.04 + backports
Import to: Neon User Edition (but `kontact` comes from ubuntu packages:
4:15.12.3-0ubuntu1)

In https://forum.kde.org/viewtopic.php?f=215=120348 they recommend to clean
up `~/.kde4/share/config/emailidentities` manually.
This folder does not exist here, but `~/.local/share/emailidentities/` does (I
assume this is the new path for a KF5 `kontact`).
This folder had only a few (4-5) empty folders inside.
Cleaning it up (remove the content) didn't change anything.

Does anyone has a workaround to delete these identities?

`aspell-de` does not get installed

Expected Results:
