I get the crash on full color images, I've never tried grayscale images. I get
the crash on almost 100% percent of images.

Tools->Spelling->Spelling works for me, but Automatic Spell Checking still does
not work. Kubuntu packages.

I'm running 16.04, Dolphin version 15.12.3 and this issue does not appear to be
fixed, Dolphin is still scrolling 6 lines per wheel click.

Re-opening this bug as it has reappeared. Attached is a screenshot with
"Configure Web Shortcuts" open twice, once from Konsole and once via Yakuake
(which uses Konsole, I believe). As you can see, each application appears to be
opening a different "Configure Web Shortcuts" kcm module. Konsole version is:
Qt: 5.5.1
KDE Frameworks: 5.21.0
Konsole: 15.12.3

I saw a recent comment on a forum that indicated this was because there was an
existing process of kate running, so when you try to open it via
double-clicking on a text file or from the command line, kate doesn't open
because it is already running.

Check for a running kate (ps aux | grep kate) when it refuses to open. Force
closing that running instance (killall kate) should allow you to run kate by
command line again.

The forum report indicated that this was due to closing kate via the corner x
and not via File->Quit, which supposedly avoids the issue. The bug is also
reported fixed, but I just encountered it, thus the Googling!

On a related note, kate should check for exactly this situation and display a
popup dialog indicating that kate is currently running somewhere else...

It appears that the default quality when moving from one image to another is
low, and zooming in or out on the subsequent image produces a higher quality
rendering.

In other words, when using the next button to move to a second image, the
initial quality of that image is low. Zooming in and then back out to the same
resolution as before produces a much higher quality image. So unfortunately,
every time I move to another image, I have to zoom in and then back out (or the
other way around) to get a high quality image.

Alternately, opening the image directly produces the higher quality image, only
moving from image to image with the next/previous buttons produces a lower
quality rendering.
