[kde-gtk-config] [Bug 370241] New: Apply colors to non-Qt application has no effect for Breeze-GTK

2016-10-07 Thread Jan Pavlicek via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370241

Bug ID: 370241
Summary: Apply colors to non-Qt application has no effect for
Breeze-GTK
   Product: kde-gtk-config
   Version: 5.8.0
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: manutort...@chakra-project.org
  Reporter: jan.pavli...@centrum.cz
CC: aleix...@kde.org

I am using a custom color scheme along with the Breeze dark widget style. I use
Breeze-dark for GTK2 and GTK3 applications, but neither one gets applied with
my custom color scheme. Instead, both GTK 2 and 3 applications use the default
light-bluish breeze colors. (I am using red color theme).

This affected all versions of plasma 5 (been using since 5.1 or so), including
the recently released 5.8.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to System Settings -> Colors and apply a non-default color theme
2. Go to System Settings -> ApplicationStyle -> GNOME Application Style (GTK)
and choose Breeze-Dark for both GTK2 and 3
3. Open any GTK application (e.g. GIMP, Dia, Inkscape, ...)

Actual Results:
The colors used correspond to a "Breeze Dark" color scheme, which is the
default for Breeze style.

Expected Results:
Colors should correspond to whichever color scheme is chosen in settings.

[plasmashell] [Bug 366173] plasma task manager "show only tasks from the current screen" shows the wrong list

I can confirm this too, with only 2 screens. Task manager entries are swaped,
windows on the right monitor are showed in taskbar on the left one and vice
versa. Removing and readding the taskbar seems to correct the issue, but it
returns after reboot. It is extremely annoying, making me think about switching
back to 5.6. I'm on ArchLinux, updated daily.

Interesting thing is, that on my desktop PC, if I go to display settings,
disable, apply and then reenable and apply the second monitor, it does not
help. But on my laptop, this fixes the issue and taskbars work as normal
(panels don't remember their positions and get repositioned both on one screen
and I need to manually correct this, but this is another issue).

Second interesting thing is, that on my desktop PC i have a 16:10 a 4:3
screens. I have respective resolution wallpapers and they get swapped too, the
wider one gets black corners and the thinner one is fitted to the screen.

Really hope this gets fixed soon, thanks!

I second this bug, using \ArrayAccess all the time and also Nette Framework
which I use does utilize this language spec - the red underline is very
confusing.

[plasmashell] [Bug 356479] plasmashell uses 100% CPU when there is an animation in the task bar

2016-05-02 Thread Jan Pavlicek via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356479

I can confirm on ArchLinux, plasmashell version 5.6.3. Plasmashell proces grows
in CPU usage when there is anything "animated" in the system tray - for
instance a Connecting state (I have a problem when ethernet is constantly
trying to connect even with the cable out so the icon is still moving - after
minutes, the enviroment becomes unusable), skype connection (spinning the
arrows), or notification.

I have also observed using htop, that the loads usually starts at 10 - 15 % on
all cores per moving icon and grows up to 80 - 100% per core, at which point
the desktop is not usable any more.

[khotkeys] [Bug 361406] New: Mouse gestures are limited to 10 buttons

2016-04-05 Thread Jan Pavlicek via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361406

Bug ID: 361406
Summary: Mouse gestures are limited to 10 buttons
   Product: khotkeys
   Version: 5.6.1
  Platform: Archlinux Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: k...@michael-jansen.biz
  Reporter: jan.pavli...@centrum.cz

In system settings > Shortcuts > Custom shortucts, it is impossible to define
button for mouse gestures higher than 9 (there is an option for defining button
10, but it does not work, only 9 and lower work). I have a mouse with button 13
(showing in xev, it is a logitech performance MX) and I believe many others
like this exist. An option to map gestures to button 13 would greatly improve
usability of both the mouse itself and the mouse gestures.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open system settings > Shortcuts > Custom shortucts
2. Check box to eneable gestures
3. Try to assign button with greater number than 9. 10 is available, but won't
work. 11 and above isn't available.

Actual Results:
Button 10 is available, but does not work (gestures with that button won't
trigger). Higher button numbers cannot be entered.

Expected Results:
There should be at least 13 possible button numbers.

Ok, now I feel really stupid :-). I had no idea that using the C indenter will
help, i had indenter set to "None". It works perfectly, thank you for the
pointer and sorry for pointless feature request.

[kate] [Bug 357879] New: [feature-request] Automatic continuation of multiline comments

2016-01-12 Thread Jan Pavlicek via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=357879

Bug ID: 357879
Summary: [feature-request] Automatic continuation of multiline
comments
   Product: kate
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: wishlist
  Priority: NOR
 Component: indentation
  Assignee: kwrite-bugs-n...@kde.org
  Reporter: jan.pavli...@centrum.cz

I recently switchet to Kate from Geany and i really miss this feature. I belive
that it can be a valid new feature that should be considered in future
releases, since many people who use Kate for programming can benefit from it.

It works very simple, when you start a multiline (or documentation) comment
(usually starting with /* or /**), most of the time you want the comment to
continue on following lines like this:

/**
 * @return void
 */

Automatic handlig of the continuation (when I hit enter after the first line,
Kate automaticaly indents, writes the "*" on second line and ideally a space
after) would be exceptionaly useful, especially for languages like PHP (no
native annotations support, so there is a heavy use of doc comments), but I
believe others could benefit from this either. Ofcourse, this would be best as
an optional feature, enabled/disabled in settings.

Reproducible: Always
