Greek

As you can see in screen capture, Skrooge accepts Greek accented characters.
I did it by copy/paste from wikipedia.

Do you still have the issue?
If yes, thank you to give me more details?
Do you have the same issue in other applications (kate, konversation, ...)?

Hi,

As you can see in the screen capture:
1-I installed opensuse Leap 42.1 in virtual box
2-I installed skrooge from here
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/miraks/openSUSE_Leap_42.1/
3-Skrooge is executed correctly

I don't know why you have this issue but I 99% sure that is not due to Skrooge.
Could you try to uninstall it and reinstall?

Hi,
This is not a problem of packaging!
The problem is that you selected "oxygen" as icons set for KDE applications but
"oxygen" is not installed.
You should change the KDE settings to choose "breeze" as icons set.
To do that, launch systemsettings5 from a console and change the icon set.

I close this incident. Reopen it if needed.

Hi,

Sorry for the very slow progress but this issue is not really in Skrooge, this
is a packaging issue and I don't know well opensuse.

The version of your sqlcipher library is may be not the expected one.
If you have installed Skrooge from here (my packaging):
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:miraks/skrooge
You must installed sqkcipher from here too:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:miraks/sqlcipher

The sqlcipher version must be 3.3.1.
Regards.

Hi,
Just to explain my analysis:
1- the sqlcipher plugin seems to be well installed
2- but skrooge is not able to load it. I don't know why.
3- skrooge would like to display the error message but because the gui is not
fully created...
4- ... the application crashes !

I did a modification to avoid the crash but this won't solve your issue because
the driver will not be loaded.

Another question:
What is the result of this command?

[skrooge] [Bug 368478] Date in edit not respect settings

2016-09-10 Thread Stephane MANKOWSKI via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=368478

Hi Vicnet,

Here is some information to have your point of view:
1- In the operation view:
a) The VIEW of the date is using the setting.
b) There is not EDITION.
2- In the split view:
a) The VIEW of the date is using the setting.
b) In EDITION mode, the date widget is displayed and the date format is
DD/MM//. This is mandatory to be able to parse the date.
3- In the edition zone of the operation page (and all other page having date
widget.
   a) There is no VIEW mode.
   b) The date widget is ready for the EDITION. So, the date format is
DD/MM//. This is mandatory to be able to parse the date.

We could imagine that the date widget:
   a) Displays the date in setting format when it has NOT the focus (this is
the VIEW mode)
   b) Displays the date in DD/MM/ format when it has the focus (this is the
EDITION mode)

But, this new behaviour could generate some troubles:
1- The size of the widget will change because "Samedi, 10 Septembre 2016" is
longer than "10/09/2016".
2- This change will be done only in Skrooge. This won't be the same in all
other applications manipulating dates.
3- This is an important modification on a key component, so this is risky.

What is you point of view? Do you think that my proposal should be done?
Personally, I am not 100% convinced.

Hi Vicnet,

If the sign is entered (+ or -), then this sign is used for the created/updated
operation.
If the sign is not entered by the user, then the sign is automatically added by
skrooge by using the category.

So, it means that we need to know the category to be able to automatically
compute the sign of the operation. so, this can not be done when the focus is
lost.

Is my answer acceptable?

The behavior of the video is not normal.

I asked you to remove the other skroogerc file not this one.
In fact, for compatibility reason, the old skroogerc file (for KDE4) is copied
in ~/.config/skroogerc (KF5).
So, if you still have the old version, when skrooge is started, the old version
overwrite the new one.

So, please, remove the other skroogerc file as explained in my previous post.

No, these options are exactly done to do what you want.
But, if another skroogerc file exists, the this file will overwrite the
official one and these options will come back to the previous value.

2016-04-27 Thread Stephane MANKOWSKI via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362231

Hi,

In your exported csv file:
- The first line is in fact a special operation representing the initial amount
of your account.
- The 2 next lines are the 2 splits of your operation.

As you can see, the dates are the dates of the suboperations.
The date of the operation is not exported.

This is normal, the csv format is not a format allowing to export all
information managed by Skrooge.

My proposal is the following one:
1- No modification for the export
2- Modification for the import to keep the suboperations dates.

Is this proposal acceptable?

[clazy] [Bug 359867] New: Missing Q_DECLARE_TYPEINFO: QDate

2016-02-27 Thread Stephane MANKOWSKI via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=359867

Bug ID: 359867
   Summary: Missing Q_DECLARE_TYPEINFO: QDate
   Product: clazy
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Compiled Sources
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: unassigned-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: steph...@mankowski.fr
CC: smart...@kde.org

Clary returns warnings like on Qt objects used in lists.
Examples:
warning: Missing Q_DECLARE_TYPEINFO: QDate [-Wclazy-missing-typeinfo]
warning: Missing Q_DECLARE_TYPEINFO: QModelIndex [-Wclazy-missing-typeinfo]

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a cpp file with
QList a;
QVector a;

2. Check it with clazy

Actual Results:
You should have warning saying that Q_DECLARE_TYPEINFO is missing.

Expected Results:
You should not have these warnings because Q_DECLARE_TYPEINFO are not missing.

Hi Sebastian,

This incident has not been fixed because it was due to a bad alignment of
libraries.
Means, that skrooge has been built on a version of KDE/Qt and the user tried to
run it on a new version of KDE/Qt.

To be sure, could you try rebuild Skrooge?
I think you won't have the issue anymore.

Hi,

I can't fix this because with the date format options, we can have following
dates:
31/12/2015 => OK. Not problem to parse this kind of
date
Jeudi 31 décembre 2015 => KO. I don't know how to parse this kind of date. And
do you really want to enter dates in this format?
Yesterday  => KO
2015/31/12 => OK but not aligned with the partial date
entering (example: 12 for the previous 12, 30/12 for the previous 30 of
December)

That's why I won't fix this bug.
The option in settings is only for "Display". Not for entering.

Hi,

In traces, I can't find an issue with Skrooge.
You are right, the issue is due to your KDE installation not to Skrooge.

So, I close this incident.

Hi,

I don't know how you build Skrooge but Skrooge seems to be not build on the
right verion:
Cannot mix incompatible Qt library (version 0x50500) with this library (version
0x50501)

You should open an incident to the opensuse packager of Skrooge.

Because this is not a bug in Skrooge, I will close this incident.

Thank you, this helps me a lot.

followings cases too !
if (list.count()>0) {}
if (list.count()==0) {}
