The dolphin specific code of the sync client is here:

Don't know if this helps someway. The relevant sharing part seems to be in
ownclouddolphinactionplugin.cpp. For uploading simply storing the file in the
owncloud folder should be enough.

I can look into that.
If somebody can point me out to which API it should integrate and provide a
test system, it will make the task much simpler. I guess I can use
share.kde.org.
