Hello.
I have new information! The bug persists in 16.08.2. Try renaming a folder when
KDEnlive still produces preview-images. Maybe that is the reason for this bug.

Without further details that allow us to reproduce this issue so we can debug
and fix it, I'm afraid that this bug report has to be closed until further
information surfaces. This is necessary to avoid us getting drowned in stale
reports that cannot be solved without help from the reporters. Thank you very
