[Bug 199822] kmail from SVN TRUNK: Crashes (almost) Immediately upon starting
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199822 Jonathan Marten j...@keelhaul.me.uk changed: What|Removed |Added CC||j...@keelhaul.me.uk --- Comment #1 from Jonathan Marten jjm keelhaul me uk 2009-07-12 11:18:45 --- Are KDEDIR and/or KDEDIRS set appropriately for running KDE from a non-standard location? Frame #7 suggests that KDEDIR is set to /usr/share, but your KDE4 installation seems to be somewhere under /home/kde-trunk/kde. KDEDIR, at least, needs to point here too. You can verify this by running Konqueror for a web page, it may crash with the same problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 199887] New: Feature request: Save ALL emails as .mbox files
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199887 Summary: Feature request: Save ALL emails as .mbox files Product: kmail Version: unspecified Platform: SuSE RPMs OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: homoludens1...@gmail.com Version:(using KDE 4.2.4) Installed from:SuSE RPMs (There are a lot of 'Wishlist' / feature requests re: Kmail / Kontact archiving / backup functionality, but my request was too concrete to fit anywhere ... ) It would be very convenient if the Save as (save as .mbox) functionality were expanded so that one could save ALL emails (that is from ALL folders) as an .mbox file. (Currently, one can only save all emails out of one single folder. If one has a large number of different folders -- like me -- saving each one becomes a tedious matter.) I suggest two ways for saving these emails: (1.) SIMPLE / PLAIN SAVE: ALL emails are saved into one big .mbox file. (2). HIERARCHICAL (and preferable): emails are saved into separate .mbox files according to the folder they are in. The name of the .mbox file should ideally reflect the folder structure, for example: FRIENDS BOB email 1 email 2 etc. MARY email 1 email 2 etc. WORK BOSS email 1 email 2 etc. ELEVATOR GIRL email 1 email 2 etc. would be saved into 4 separate .mbox files: 1. FRIENDS - BOB.mbox 2. FRIENDS - MARY.mbox 3. WORK - BOSS.mbox 4. WORK - ELEVATOR GIRL.mbox -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 199900] New: display articles text in monospace font
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199900 Summary: display articles text in monospace font Product: knode Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: greatbunzi...@gmail.com Version: 4.3 RC2 (using KDE 4.2.96) Installed from:Ubuntu Packages Some usenet posts/emails are written to take advantage of fixed width fonts to be able to convey certain messages (small diagrams, ASCII art, etc...). Therefore it's useful to be able to display the articles in fixed width fonts. Nonetheless, fixed width fonts aren't necessarily the best fonts to read all sorts of text. So, in order to get the best of both worlds, it would be great if knode offered a way to toggle between a fixed width font and a non-fixed width font. There is already a feature which is labelled as use fixed font, which is available not only through the view menu and right-click menu but also through the X keyboard shortcut. Nonetheless, that feature doesn't appear to do anything. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

Apparently the fix for 3.5.x did not make it into KDE 4. When kmail is getting mail from a local mailbox, and either the check mail button is pressed or the mail check interval starts a new mail check, then subsequently no more mail is downloaded from the local mailbox. The problem is caused by both accountmanager.cpp and kmacctlocal.cpp checking if a mail check is in progress and it gets into the state where accountmanager thinks there is a mail check in progress, but kmacctlocal thinks there is not. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
