Since everyone else is doing it, so shall I! Yep, having this problem on
Mandriva 2010 with Kontact on KDE 4.3. It's a pain having to kill the process
manually. I have IMAP accounts but no lost connections, no messages still in
the queue. I make sure everything is clean before I shut down at the end of the
day. This one is really bugging (heh) me.

[Bug 231925] New: account data akonadi googledata

2010-03-23 Thread Robert Riemann
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=231925

   Summary: account data akonadi googledata
   Product: kontact
   Version: 4.4.1
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS/Version: unspecified
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
ReportedBy: robert.riem...@physik.hu-berlin.de

Version:(using KDE 4.4.1)
Installed from:openSUSE RPMs

I am not sure if this is the right place to report bugs for akonadi...

The akonadi googledata modules require in its settings the account information.

There is a little hint, that to the given username @gmail.com will be append,
but the german google mail accounts have the prefix @googlemail.com due to
patent issues.

Either the hint is misleading or it is wrong.

[Bug 228644] kontact crashes inserting a contact via copy paste from the kadressbook

2010-03-23 Thread Roman Fietze
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=228644

--- Comment #1 from Roman Fietze rfkd fietze-home de 2010-03-23 19:36:23 ---
Could reproduce this bug easily using KDE 4.4.1. This time by dragging and
dropping an entry from kadressbook to the kmail composer windows and selecting
as attachment.

[Bug 218986] using multiple sending accounts

2010-03-23 Thread heavytull
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=218986

--- Comment #2 from heavytull heavytull hotmail com 2010-03-23 21:43:38 ---
(In reply to comment #1)
Are you sure you are using this correctly? For using different transports you
have to hold the mouse pressed on the Send button - and you can define
default transports in the identity settings.

yeah I'm sure I'm using this correctly. In the Original report i said I was
sending 'via xxx'. This is the option in the file menu and is equivalent to
sending by holding down the mouse on the 'send' button and choosing one of the
accounts appearing.
