I have some mails which can not be viewed. When I select them in message list, the viewer starts showing Loading forever. Sometimes it is even impossible to read any other mail after this. With one person I frequently mail it is even so, that kmail closes without opening DrKonqi after a while when I want to reply. Unfortunately I can not give an example of these mails for privacy reasons. But it seems reproducable. I also have a theory for the reply example. I believe that Akonadi is crashed and that Kmail then closes without notice because of that. If anyone can give me an instruction how to produce debug info I will do so. There is one specific thing about this person I often mail with: The mails are long and contain a lot of quote signs. Outlook froze on loading, Kleopatra not responding - using 50% of dual-core CPUs = almost 100% of one of my CPUs. No joy after waiting a few mins. 5. Killed Kleopatra process = Outlook loaded ok 6. Restarted Outlook - same problem. 7. Undef HomeDir. Tried environment variable GNUPGHOME = C:\Temp 8. Outlook loaded ok but Kleopatra still not responding and at 50% CPU... Outlook hangs when trying to open encrypted emails. 9. Restarted PC 10. Same problem 11. After killing Kleopatra, with Outlook still open tried running it manually 12. Seemed to load ok with 0 keys (expected - blank home dir) [BUT the handles are still running away...] 13. Imported key 14. Tried to open encrypted email - not working 15. Tried to run certificate manager from Outlook - could not be loaded 16. Shutdown Kleopatra and close Outlook 17. Ah - I see, .conf files missing from temp home directory - copied from \Application Data\gnupg (assuming this is then the default home...) 18. Tried again. Optimize WinCE db performance by removing indices.
SQLite benchmarks on Windows CE have shown that creation
and maintenance of indices are expensive. It has to be
evaluated if they are used by SQLites query planner
with the statements by Akonadi anyhow. Tests have shown an
improvement for initial sync on WinCE of ~40% which is
also the difference we saw benchmarking many insert statements.

Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: - Launch Kmail-mobile - Connect an Akonadi console to your N900 - Click on your Imap account - Open the 'Actions' tab - Click on 'Account' - Click on 'Account Properties' - Uncheck the 'Enable Server-Side Subscriptions' check box (it is checked by default) - Click on 'Ok' - Reopen 'Actions' tab - Click on 'Synchronize emails in account' Actual Results: The email synchronization works but it takes an huge amount of time. Last time I tested this it took about 10 min but after 60 min the synchronization is still not yet finished and I would say only about half way. Expected Results: Synchronizing shared folders should not take that long the first time. It doesn't show anything. /usr/bin/image-viewer returns immediately. /usr/bin/image-viewer /tmp/nenuphar.jpg also returns immediately. And nothing is shown. Exit code 0. strace says weird stuff about dbus, not sure what this binary is really doing; seems like it's writing to the /tmp/.maemo-launcher socket. Anyway, this is a maemo bug. Either image-viewer isn't working, or it's not supposed to be run this way (and then associating it with image mimetypes in its .desktop file is wrong).
