[Bug 300472] Moving Mails between folders causes them to be recreated in source folder

--- Comment #1 from Seres Dávid seres.da...@chello.hu ---
I installed Kubuntu 12.04 with KDE 4.8.3 from kubuntu-ppa, and i have to
comfirm this bug.

I uses pop3 mailboxes. When i drag and drop mails from inbox folder to other
one, and choose moving, mails are moved, but a few minutes later they are
recreated in inbox folder. KNotify shows one ,,crazy'' message from every
moved emails. If i move hundred, i get hundred notification. Copy and delete
are working, but uncomfortable.

Other problem is that moving mail as action of mail filters do the same!!! The
filter runs on inbox moving every mail it have to, but a few minute later new
mails will recreated, and filter rerun on these mails too. I had to disable my
filters, because KMail 2 produced thousands of duplicate mails in target
folders jumped into infinite cycle!!!

[Bug 300819] New: Sync hangs during mobile connection (gprs or UTMS) on N9 does not recover with offline - online

2012-05-29 Thread Bernhard E . Reiter
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300819

Bug ID: 300819
  Severity: major
   Version: unspecified
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Sync hangs during mobile connection (gprs or UTMS) on
N9 does not recover with offline - online
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: bernh...@intevation.de
  Hardware: Meego/Harmattan
Status: NEW
 Component: general
   Product: KDE PIM Mobile

When online with the GPRS or UTMS connection, folder syncs
very soon hang, so they stay at a random percentange and don't move anymore.
This situation occurs for all syncs in larger folders, when using the mobile
connection.
It does not occur with the WLAN connection.

Switching to offline and then to online again usually changes the sync
percentage
to something lower and hangs there. Closing the Kontact Touch Mail frontend
and reopening it does not help.

Version installed:
ii kmail-mobile
4:4.9~.20120521.git084e17ba-1maemo6.6
ii kdepimlibs-kio-plugins
4:4.9~20120521.git9360eadef-maemo6.6
ii kdepim-runtime
4:4.8+20120521.git8ce8c5b0-1maemo6.2
ii akonadi-server
1.6.50.20120516.gitdeec1f-1maemo6.2

I've also notived the issue with previous revision.
When using the same N9 and its internet connection via an ideapad with Kontact
Touch,
there is no hang.

So maybe the N9 does something special when it is using the mobile internet
connection?

We currently only have French translations donated, we require someone to
provide us with the translations (preferably a member of our translation

Sources:
http://www.bj.admin.ch/content/dam/data/staat_buerger/zivilprozessrecht/kant-feiertage.pdf:
The official government source, unfortunately very unwieldy.
http://www.feiertage-schweiz.ch/: An inofficial source
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feiertage_in_der_Schweiz (here one can see
that not all holidays are holidays for all cantons, but every Swiss
citizen knows which holidays applies and which don't).

If there are more holidays I would be happy to add them, again a reliable
online reference is required, usually a government or tourist board site would
be accepted, with Wikipedia as a backup.

Hello,
Bug was also reproduced in mageia 2 by users *not* using networkmanager. Users
using networkmanager (like me :p ) are not affected ( kde-runtime is built with
nm support).
Building kde-runtime without ntrack support fix the issue.
ntrack version is the 016.

Regards,

[Bug 289382] HTML mails with CSS loses CSS on rendering

same is i.e. with newsletters from http://www.linux-magazin.de in HTML format.
Interestingly if you forward same message the editor is now rendering the style
and colors. Check also i.e. by viewing same mail using Thunderbird the
rendering is completly different.

[Bug 298962] Kmail sometimes causes emails from an IMAP folder to be blank and also wipes them out in the IMAP folder

I'm curious to know if some one using kmail2 gets the same results as I
(Orang_Gila) get in kmail following the step I layed out in the following bug
report:

[Bug 295051] Filters are not applied to newly received messages (IMAP)

I can confirm this (for IMAP, POP untested) with KDE 4.8.1. Filters are not
applied to incoming mail, new mail is always left in inbox. The filter itself
works properly, if I manually select the mail and apply all filters, it ends up
where it should be.

[Bug 290158] no notificatoin on arrival of mail

--- Comment #1 from Neil Skrypuch ns0...@brocku.ca ---
I can confirm this. I have Detailed new mail notification checked, but I
never get any notifications of new mail, I have tested this repeatedly.

It is potentially relevant to note that I'm using an IMAP account with IDLE
(ie, IMAP push) capability.
