Thanks!

[Bug 301559] New: New calendars in kontact are not created on the DAV server

2012-06-10 Thread Médéric Boquien
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=301559

Bug ID: 301559
  Severity: normal
   Version: 1.7.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: New calendars in kontact are not created on the DAV
server
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: mboqu...@free.fr
  Hardware: Archlinux Packages
Status: NEW
 Component: DAV Resource
   Product: Akonadi

Hello,

I have an owncloud installation with a caldav resource. The sync works fine
both ways with one exception. When i create a new calendar in korganizer, it
never gets created in owncloud. Basically the only way to create a calendar
seen everywhere is to create it through the owncloud web interface.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open korganizer
2. Create a calendar
3. Sync the resource
Actual Results:
The new calendar is not synced with the DAV resource and remains only local.

Expected Results:
The new calendar should be created and synced in the DAV resource and visible
in all synced devices.

I do not know whether it is an owncloud or an akonadi issue.

It is possoble to have this fix for kde 4.8.0 ?
I have mageia 2 and the only possible way to update akonadi-google would be a
release with the 0.3.2 version (actual version
akonadi-google-0.3.1-1.mga2.src.rpm), as the new version Mageia 3 will be
released the next year !

I can confirm this error. I searched for a word that is included in some
messages. Neither is not in not is in gave a result.

It must have been hard work to get so many bugs in a formerly good software.

I confirm this bug for 4.8.3

Removing the button is a bad solution. It is a big deal because closing the

[Bug 299840] Find messages... fails always

2012-06-10 Thread Maurice Batey
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=299840

--- Comment #4 from Maurice Batey maur...@bcs.org.uk ---
Seems the Find code is not doing a general 'find search string in To/From
field' - as it should - but is checking for a match to the 'pre-@' or 'post-@'
component of To/From.

But - with either component - it finds only a small subset of what it
should find.

For example, a Find in 'Sent-mail' for gmail.com finds only 11 emails:
5 'this week'
4 in 2004
1 in 2005
1 last week

- whereas a Find Messages on the same Sent-mails in KDE 4.5.2 found 395
matches!

What concerns me is that there seems no sign of any developer activity with
this bug.
Is that because (I say hopefully) it is fixed in e.g. KDE 4.9, as is - I
heard - the failure to auto-complete email addresses in Composer?

Because of this KMail 4.8.* bug I am unable to move from a KDE 4.5.2
environment, as this KMail is unusable because of it.

[Bug 286793] kmail2 cannot spool mail from /var/spool/mail/$USER to inbox

2012-06-10 Thread Roman Fietze
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286793

--- Comment #8 from Roman Fietze r...@fietze-home.de ---
In the meantime, after a few months we are already at KDE 4.8.4, kmail2 seems
to handle an mbox file or account properly in terms of deletion and compaction.

But still, when I add a filter with To: matching regexp .*, Move into
folder inbox, From checked accounts onlY and Spool (which is my
/var/spool/mail/$USER mbox account), then kmail2 does not apply this filter to
incoming mail on the mbox account. But when I select a mail manually and apply
all filters, it works, and the mail is move to inbox.

So there's still no workaround for this bug and I'm stuck with KDE 4.6 (and
therefore openSUSE 11.4), until I drop KDEPIM.

I have mageia 2 and the only possible way to update akonadi-google would be
a release with the 0.3.2 version

There will be no further release of akonadi-google ( = no tarballs with
libkgoogle library and Akonadi resources together). Here's a proposed solution
for you (or any other distributions):

Distributions can package stable LibKGAPI. I will setup a scratch repo in
git.kde.org/scratch/dvratil/akonadi-google-resources which will contain the
Akonadi resources for Google from kdepim-runtime and I'll try to keep it in
sync. The repository will have no versions or releases though, but I guess that
should not be a problem (you can subscribe to repo RSS feed). The main feature
development is going in LibKGAPI anyway and it has stable releases.

2012-06-10 Thread Dieter Jurzitza
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=286793

--- Comment #9 from Dieter Jurzitza dieter.jurzi...@t-online.de ---
Hi Roman,
I have a better solution (for now ...) download, build and install kdepim from
openSUSE 11.4 on openSUSE 12.1. I've been putting all kmail2 stuff into the
trash can until the simple things like automatic delivery into my inbox (why
the heck has this been changed? What sense does that make? Why rise the need to
apply filters for nothing but get you incoming email to where everybody I could
ever think of would expect it to be?). If that will not be working any more
kmail gets simply unusuable for me and I'll have to switch to another email
client.
My two cents, maybe the aforementioned solution can be of help for someone
(only for now, but anyway).
Take care

- For the National Day, should it be Dan državnosti Srbije or Dan
državnosti ?
- Vaskrs is not listed
- Vaskrsni ponedeljak is not listed
- Dan primirja is not listed
- Drugi dan Uskrsa is the Easter Monday ? or should it be Uskrsni
ponedeljak ?
- Krsna slava is not listed (but it looks like it changes every year)

For the other religions:
- Ramazanski Bajram and Kurbanski Bajram are not listed (we could add 2012
and maybe also 2013 for the second one)
- Jom Kipur is not listed

- Dan sećanja na žrtve holokausta is not listed (even if it's not a day off)
- Dan Evrope is not listed
- Dan sećanja na srpske žrtve is not listed

Can you check which celebrations should be in the Holiday file please ?

Bug ID: 301608
  Severity: crash
   Version: unspecified
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
Summary: Kmail (v1.13.5) crashed when moving messages between
folders
Classification: Unclassified

DrKonqi Backtrace

(sorry, the bugs.kde.org interface didn't let me select kmail, the closest
match was kmail2)

I was moving a message from one folder to another (both local folders) and
Kmail crashed.
I do this often, with no trouble.
I have not changed settings recently (e.g., no change in display aggregation).
