New crash information added by DrKonqi

kontact (4.8.4) on KDE Platform 4.8.4 (4.8.4) release 511 using Qt 4.8.2

- What I was doing when the application crashed: deleting a single read email.
The application crashes every time I try to delete an email. On restarting, the
email may be in the wastebasket, but may still be in the inbox folder. I have
been using KDE since 7.2 and have never experienced this problem before.
Current system: OpenSuSE 12.1, KDE 4.8.4 (release 511).

[Bug 302000] New: Kmail thinking that it is on offline mode - every time it ask about switch mode.

2012-06-16 Thread Kamil
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302000

Bug ID: 302000
  Severity: normal
   Version: 4.8.2
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
   Summary: Kmail thinking that it is on offline mode - every time
it ask about switch mode.
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: k...@jabster.pl
  Hardware: Mageia RPMs
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: general
   Product: kmail2

Kmail every time ask me about switching mode from offline. I clicked online
then kmail connect and do actions, but when I send or check mails again then it
ask me again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Turn on computer without internet connection (without LAN cable or turn off
switch).
2. Wait for load KDE and other apps.
3. Kmail ask about passwords using KWallet.
4. Turn on internet connection.
5. Type password to Kwallet.
6. Kmail thinking tha is on offline mode, click on online button.
7. Check email - kmail ask that about switch mode (happend every time when you
want send email or check emails).

Actual Results:
N/A

Expected Results:
Kmail should know that internet connection is on. When connection was before
off and later connection was on kmail should ask about mode and switch to
online mode if user select these.

I use imap posts.
It's look like kmail don't member which mode is current. Maybe variable is no
update?

[Bug 300047] CardDav not syncing, no errors, while CalDav is ok for the same resource

2012-06-16 Thread Grégory Oestreicher
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=300047

--- Comment #17 from Grégory Oestreicher g...@kamago.net ---
(In reply to comment #16)
 This bug still exists, maybe again, on KDE 4.9.0-beta (4.8.80) on Kubuntu
 PPA Beta packages

Could you point me to the correct package (URL)? This fix should have been part
of 4.8.80, but the only one I can find is 4.8.90…

[Bug 302019] Ongoing crashes

2012-06-16 Thread Ronnie Bailey
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302019

--- Comment #1 from Ronnie Bailey pur...@wtxs.net ---
I changed some kmail settings and the program seems stable at least for now.
I'll list them in case it may give a clue:

1. In apperanceMessage list: Changed date display to localized format
2. In appearanceMessage window: Cleared the show spam status in fancy
headers and replace smileys by emoticons check boxes.

With those changes, I have not had a crash.

[Bug 302028] New: folder list splitter can not be zero when favourite folder view is activated

2012-06-16 Thread Thorsten Schnebeck
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302028

Bug ID: 302028
  Severity: normal
   Version: 4.8.4
  Priority: NOR
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
   Summary: folder list splitter can not be zero when favourite
folder view is activated
Classification: Unclassified
OS: Linux
  Reporter: thorsten.schneb...@gmx.net
  Hardware: Ubuntu Packages
Status: UNCONFIRMED
 Component: UI
   Product: kmail2

When using favourite folder view on a small netbook screen I want to disable
folder list by dragging the splitter to the bottom - like I can do with the
calendar folder view in korganizer.
But in KMail2 the splitter can not be zero. I am forced to watch the folder
list. This is a regression to kmail1 in KDE3 :-)

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. activate favorite folder icon view
2. drag spltter between favorite folder list and std folder list down to bottom

Actual Results:
 a small area of the std folder list stays visible

Expected Results:
only the small splitter handle stays visible like in korganizer calendar folder
view.
When corrected it should be checked if the splitter position is saved when
restarting kmail/kontact

kdepim/kmail/kmmainwidget.cpp shows at line ~680:

if ( mFavoriteCollectionsView ) {
mFolderViewSplitter = new QSplitter( Qt::Vertical );
mFolderViewSplitter-setOpaqueResize( opaqueResize );
mFolderViewSplitter-setChildrenCollapsible( false );
mFolderViewSplitter-addWidget( mFavoriteCollectionsView );
mFavoriteCollectionsView-setParent( mFolderViewSplitter );
mFolderViewSplitter-addWidget( mSearchAndTree );
folderTreeWidget = mFolderViewSplitter;
  }

setChildrenCollapsible( false ) disables collapsing of the children widget.

kmail --version
Qt: 4.8.1
KDE: 4.8.4 (4.8.4)
KMail: 4.8.4
