[Bug 281705] KMail sometimes incorrectly accesses KDE Wallet Service
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=281705 --- Comment #1 from r...@lavabit.com --- Created attachment 76164 -- https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=76164action=edit Kmail do not wait for Kwallet responding Probably it is because Kmail do not properly wait for Kwallet responding. You can reproduce that by doing following steps (I set new user account for this so there are no Kmail and Kwallet settings): 1. Now set up Kwallet. 2. Than start Kontact. It brings you to the account wizard. 3. Now set any imap account and let Kontact to do auto configuration. At this point you get some questions from Kwallet, click “always allow” for all. 4. Now if you see passwords in wallet manager than there is correct password for mail transport. But if you try to sent new mail, Kmail asks you an account password without waiting for a Kwallet responding. But after allowing the access all works correctly. Not sure, if that is a main problem, but I've already had cases when Kmail completely ignored stored password and asked all the time a password, when I wanted to send something, so I had to sweep full Kmail directory and to reconfigure it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 67504] IMAP IDLE support for KMail
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67504 Hugo Osvaldo Barrera h...@osvaldobarrera.com.ar changed: What|Removed |Added CC||h...@osvaldobarrera.com.ar --- Comment #51 from Hugo Osvaldo Barrera h...@osvaldobarrera.com.ar --- KDE-PIM/Akonadi has been out for a long time now, yet I don't see IDLE support anywhere. What's the current status of this issues? As far as I can see in this bug report, the intention was that IDLE support was to be included. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
[Bug 291331] kmail always sends PGP signatures as PGP/MIME - no option setting for inline
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=291331 fireb...@pr3dator.org changed: What|Removed |Added CC||fireb...@pr3dator.org --- Comment #3 from fireb...@pr3dator.org --- (In reply to comment #2) FWIW: The only mail client I know that doesn't handle PGP/MIME is Outlook Express, even more recent Outlook versions are now able to handle it, so this is not something I would consider important to implement. If there are indeed government agencies out there that still use Outlook Express then they have a serious problem which is not ours to fix. Thunderbird is unable to check my signatures sent from KMail2 - no problem from my Phone with K-9 Mail which uses the inline style - so i guess there are a lot more clients affected. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
