https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312528

Bug ID: 312528
Summary: Pressing f to forward doesn't work anymore
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.9.95 RC1
  Hardware: Other
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: commands and actions
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: rser...@gmail.com

I updated to 4.10 recent git and now the shortcut F to forward e-mails is not
working anymore. In fact in the list of shortcuts it does not appear. The other
shortcuts seem to work correctly.

Kmail do not wait for Kwallet responding

Probably it is because Kmail do not properly wait for Kwallet responding. You
can reproduce that by doing following steps (I set new user account for this so
there are no Kmail and Kwallet settings):

1. Now set up Kwallet.
2. Than start Kontact. It brings you to the account wizard.
3. Now set any imap account and let Kontact to do auto configuration. At this
point you get some questions from Kwallet, click “always allow” for all.
4. Now if you see passwords in wallet manager than there is correct password
for mail transport. But if you try to sent new mail, Kmail asks you an account
password without waiting for a Kwallet responding. But after allowing the
access all works correctly.

Not sure, if that is a main problem, but I've already had cases when Kmail
completely ignored stored password and asked all the time a password, when I
wanted to send something, so I had to sweep full Kmail directory and to
reconfigure it.

[Bug 312553] New: No further updates to and from IMAP account [regression]

2013-01-03 Thread Rolf Eike Beer
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312553

Bug ID: 312553
Summary: No further updates to and from IMAP account
[regression]
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.9.95 RC1
  Hardware: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: CONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: k...@opensource.sf-tec.de

Since I upgraded to 4.10rc1 KMail does not show new mails anymore, i.e. all
mails I see are those received before the update. I have 3 unread mails in one
folder, where I can't change their status to read. I can see the mails, but
neither are the mails automatically marked as read as usual nor can I manually
mark them as read.

Reproducible: Always

[Bug 67504] IMAP IDLE support for KMail

--- Comment #51 from Hugo Osvaldo Barrera h...@osvaldobarrera.com.ar ---
KDE-PIM/Akonadi has been out for a long time now, yet I don't see IDLE support
anywhere.
What's the current status of this issues? As far as I can see in this bug
report, the intention was that IDLE support was to be included.

[Bug 291331] kmail always sends PGP signatures as PGP/MIME - no option setting for inline

(In reply to comment #2)
FWIW: The only mail client I know that doesn't handle PGP/MIME is Outlook
Express, even more recent Outlook versions are now able to handle it, so
this is not something I would consider important to implement. If there are
indeed government agencies out there that still use Outlook Express then
they have a serious problem which is not ours to fix.

Thunderbird is unable to check my signatures sent from KMail2 - no problem from
my Phone with K-9 Mail which uses the inline style - so i guess there are a lot
more clients affected.

Mmmm, Alt+F in my configuration conflicts with As Attachment... and the file
menu

Anyhow the option to change Forwarding shorcut in the Configure Shortcuts is
not present.
