Hmm, maybe that's indeed my problem. The indexer doesn't work (maybe because my
$HOME is on AFS). However, I'll file a different bug for this...

[Akonadi] [Bug 321754] New: List failed, server replied: A000007 NO Permission denied

2013-06-29 Thread Geert Janssens
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321754

Bug ID: 321754
Summary: List failed, server replied: A07 NO Permission
denied
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 1.9.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: er...@kde.org
  Reporter: i...@kobaltwit.be
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

I get the above error message for two of my four configured e-mail accounts.

Some history: this morning, while checking mail, I got an error Failed to move
message to trash in kmail. From that point on I couldn't read any mail anymore
until I restarted akonadi. The next attempt to remove a mail message got me in
the exact same situation.

So I stopped quit kmail, stopped akonadi and then removed the complete
~/.local/share/akonadi directory to start from a fresh akonadi database.

Upon the next start of kmail, only two of my four accounts were still visible
in the mailbox list view. Akonadi still shows the configuration for all four
mailboxes.

However, when attempting to use the two failing imap configurations, I get this
error:
List failed, server replied: A07 NO Permission denied

I'm pretty sure this is an akonadi only problem, because I can access these
mail accounts perfectly fine from another mail client (I have tried
Thunderbird).

I have also tried to recreate one of the accounts, but that doesn't make any
difference. The error remains.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
I'm not sure what to write, so I'll just write what I did
1. Quit Kmail, then stop akonadi
2. Delete ~/.local/share/akonadi
3. Restart akonadi
Actual Results:
Two out of four imap mail accounts don't show up anymore in kmail.

Expected Results:
Akonadi should be able to connect to all 4 e-mail addresses.

I may be relevant that of my 4 mail accounts 3 are on the same mailserver, so
other than username/password, they use the exact same configuration. Only one
of these is currently working, although I don't see any configuration error.

There is an akonadi server error log with exactly one line:
Error during executing query INSERT INTO CollectionTable (remoteId,
remoteRevision, name, parentId, resourceId, cachePolicyInherit, isVirtual)
VALUES (:0, :1, :2, :3, :4, :5, :6) : Duplicate entry '60-Kobalt' for key
'CollectionTable_parentAndNameIndex' QMYSQL3: Unable to execute statement

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321754

--- Comment #1 from Geert Janssens i...@kobaltwit.be ---
I'll note that the akonadi server error referst to a duplicate entry for
60-Kobalt. I'm not sure where that comes from, but in case it helps in
debugging here are the names I use for the imap accounts:
AbitMORE - Geert
Kobalt W.I.T. - Geert
Kobalt W.I.T. - Info
Telenet

These names have spaces. I don't know if that may be an issue or not.

I still experience the same issue on KDE 4.10.3: when trying to sign a file
through Kleopatra, it fails with a ERR 50331706 No data GpgSM error in the
log file. Note that signing files via the command line (gpgsm --sign) works.

Since this report of so old, I wonder whether it is resolved for the OP. Are
there any updates on this?

For some weeks I experience the above problem.

I use an egroupware server, KDE and some mobile phones.
According to the server logs and akonadiconsole davgroupware still synchronizes
my calendar, yet it is no longer displayed in korganizner.

When I look a akonadiconsole I can see multiple ics files for my calendar but
the adressbook is not displayable.

I want to search my sent mail folder (maildir) for my own name Martin in the
complete message.
Before this I checked the indexing status of the folder and manually clicked
reindex now and waited until the properties dialog told me it was reindexed
today (I had to start the index now two times - waited 10 minutes in between
and checked that the CPU was already 0%).

So now with the correct status of ...was indexed ... today it finds ONE
message of about 1 in that folder !
When I try to find Re: in Subject it find NO SINGLE mail. If I simply type
Re: in the message list filter field, the filtered message list contains
hundreds or thousands of mails.

[kmail2] [Bug 321779] New: Searches with multiple conditions always fails

2013-06-29 Thread Blackpaw
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=321779

Bug ID: 321779
Summary: Searches with multiple conditions always fails
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: Git (master)
  Platform: Ubuntu Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: lindsay.mathie...@gmail.com

When searching for for emails only containing multiple terms the search always
returns no results.

e.g I have multiple emails with the terms carewolf and 225 in the subject
line. If I search on only one condition it works, i.e

- search on carewolf returns the emails

- search on 225 returns the emails

If I search on multiple conditions it always fails:

- search on carewolf and 225 returns nothing

- search on carewolf or 225 returns nothing

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Invokde the search dlg for two terms contained together in multiple email
2. Click search

Actual Results:
Nothing is returned

Expected Results:
A list of emails containing the terms

I enabled debug output and captured the SPARQL query for a search on carewolf
and 225. It seems insanely verbose for a simple query.
