--- Comment #3 from Emanuel Schütze eman...@intevation.de ---
Kleopatra supports already two smart card types: X.509 Telesec Netkey 3 and
OpenPGP card. See also in Gpg4win README (section 3) for using smart card with
Kleopatra:

[Akonadi] [Bug 323762] New: IMAP error every time after sending mail and saving to sent-mail IMAP folder (kde 4.11.0)

2013-08-20 Thread Andreas K . Huettel
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323762

Bug ID: 323762
Summary: IMAP error every time after sending mail and saving to
sent-mail IMAP folder (kde 4.11.0)
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: Akonadi
   Version: 4.11
  Platform: Gentoo Packages
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: IMAP resource
  Assignee: er...@kde.org
  Reporter: dilfri...@gentoo.org
CC: kdepim-bugs@kde.org, vkra...@kde.org

My sent-mail folder is on an IMAP resource. After sending an e-mail I always
obtain a popup
NO UID STORE Invalid parameter: +FLAGS ( 61FF )

It seems like some parameter to the UID STORE command is missing (to be precise
the UID of the uploaded message). Here is part of an IMAP transscript, starting
directly after the message data that has been uploaded:

S: A005284 OK APPEND completed [ APPENDUID 1322069043 4410 ]
C: A005285 SELECT Sent Items
S: * 188 EXISTS
S: * 1 RECENT
S: * OK [ UIDVALIDITY 1322069043 ]
S: * OK [ UIDNEXT 4411 ]
S: * FLAGS ( \Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Draft \Seen )
S: * OK [ PERMANENTFLAGS ( \Answered \Flagged \Deleted \Draft \Seen \* ) ]
S: A005285 OK SELECT completed [ READ-WRITE ]
C: A005286 UID STORE +FLAGS (\SEEN $SENT)
S: A005286 NO UID STORE Invalid parameter: +FLAGS ( 61FF )
C: A005287 SELECT INBOX

The IMAP server is Novell Groupwise 2012.

[kmail2] [Bug 323767] New: emails being duplicated repeatedly when selecting a maildir folder after a mail check

2013-08-20 Thread Thomas Fjellstrom
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=323767

Bug ID: 323767
Summary: emails being duplicated repeatedly when selecting a
maildir folder after a mail check
Classification: Unclassified
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 4.10.5
  Platform: Debian unstable
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: major
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: tho...@fjellstrom.ca

Over time, I see duplicate messages get filtered into folders, even long after
the original was received.

The odd parts:

- occasionally an incoming/inbox folder will show a low number of unread
messages ( 10) , but upon selecting the folder, one of two things happen:
 1. the unread count goes back to 0, or the proper unread count if there are
actually some new messages in that folder.
 2. the unread count jumps to over 30-40 messages very briefly, and messages
appear as unread for a short time, then they get filtered into folders. These
are almost always duplicates.

Typically this happens after sitting for a while and some new messages have
been received and filtered.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. set up one or more pop3 accounts
2. set up some move into filters
3. watch as duplicates get filtered into folders
Actual Results:
Duplicated messages

Expected Results:
no duplicated messages

[Akonadi] [Bug 316840] imap resource starts crazy connect / disconnect cycle to mail server

--- Comment #29 from Thomas Fjellstrom tho...@fjellstrom.ca ---
I'm trying to switch to imap from a bunch of pop3 accounts, and came across
this problem.

I have a hypothesis as to what is going on.

Things work fine for a long time under normal circumstances, but if the imap
server disconnects the imap client, akonadi doesn't notice and keeps trying to
use the session, which is now invalid and the server rejects. somehow even
after the rejection the akonadi imap client still doesn't know the session is
dead, and things just stop working in kmail, all while the imap server spams
its own log with disconnect messages.

At least thats how it seems to me.

I can sometimes stop the cycle by fully stopping, and restarting my imap
server, but it'll eventually come back. And the other way is by fully stopping
and restarting akonadi. But again, it will eventually come back.

Thanks Daniel!!!
So it is fixed for me as soon as I deleted a second outbox of the empty
local folders account.
I had one outbox in English, the other one in Norwegian, so I guess changing
languages has the potential to mess things up by creating duplicate special
folders.
Now I have kmail working at great speeds again :)

When you filter the filter list, say via List-ID in the filter list filter
field (that text field at the top that filters the list items) and try to
select a filter, the list jumps around and most of the time the wrong filter
ends up being selected.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open filter dialog
2. enter search text in filter list filter field
3. try and select a filter
Actual Results:
Filter list jumps around erratically, and often selects the wrong filter.

Expected Results:
Filter list should immediately select the correct filter with no excess
scrolling.

It's an assert in code
if (mx1.expandMacrosShellQuote(exec)  !mx1.hasUrls) {
Q_ASSERT(supportedProtocols.isEmpty()); // huh? If you support
protocols you need %u or %U...
}

it's a pb with gentoo + desktop file.
So it's not a kontact problem

Persists with 4.11.0, but it seems only on the first run it will get stuck
without a visible window after closing it. When I kill it and then restart it,
it can be closed without further problems.
