[kmailtransport] [Bug 435354] New: Sending SMTP mail doesn't work

2021-04-04 Thread Jens
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435354

Bug ID: 435354
Summary: Sending SMTP mail doesn't work
   Product: kmailtransport
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: jens.uhlenbr...@gmx.de
  Target Milestone: ---

After updating my Opensuse system to Leap 15.2, kmail2 is no longer able to
send emails through SMTP with popular webservices. I've checked the SMTP
settings (auto-detect and as prescribed by the services) but it doesn't work.
I've tried deinstalling kmailtransport and kmail2 and upgraded to the latest
stable KDE version but nothing has resolved the issue so far.

The connection should be STARTTLS, but also the TLS alternative doesn't work.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Writing and sending mail in Kmail
2. Mail gets transferred to Outbox but nothing happens afterwards
3. For a long time nothing happens, then I get the error message "Failed to
transport message. The remote host closed the connection "

OBSERVED RESULT
Mail cannot be sent

EXPECTED RESULT
Send email

[akregator] [Bug 190059] Changing feed URL "removes" old articles

2021-04-04 Thread Ricardo J. Barberis
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=190059

Well, I changed another feed's URL and lost that feed's articles :/

But this time I made a backup first so I could recover them.

The old URL is https://nagstamon.ifw-dresden.de/feed/ and the new one is
https://nagstamon.de/feed

This time the domain part is different, maybe that's a clue?

2021-04-04 Thread David Faure
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435352

The line of code is

1217AgendaItem::QPtr placeItem = d->mActionItem->firstMultiItem();

and clearly d->mActionItem is null.

2021-04-04 Thread David Faure
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=435352

Bug ID: 435352
   Summary: Crash in EventViews::AgendaItem::firstMultiItem (null
agenda item)
   Product: korganizer
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: agendaview (weekview)
  Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org
  Reporter: fa...@kde.org
  Target Milestone: ---

SUMMARY

I moved a weekly-recurring event to half an hour later, korganizer asked if
that was for this instance or for all, I clicked on All, and korganizer
crashed.

If it matters, I had previously duplicated an event recurring on thursdays (by
copy/pasting it), then modified that event to be on mondays rather than
thursdays.
And then I moved its start time as described anove.

The News Feed has to have been closed - from display in a new Akregator tab.
If it's open in a new Akregator tab, the segmentation fault doesn't occur.

If another Planet openSUSE article is opened and the closed - for example
"Interview auf gnulinux.ch" - the segmentation fault also occurs . . .
