In Korganizer there was an option that allow moving completed to-dos to the end of the list. but in Kontact->summary, there is nothing. In my opinion, it is essential to add this option to the summary, because the summary would show the most important works and to-dos! I know that this is due to my system specifically and not with my Gmail permissions/accounts due to the fact that I have another PC where I managed to successfully add the Gmail account without any problems. I have also attempted as much as possible to completely wipe all configs and state with Akonadi and Kmail , i.e. rm -r ~/.local/share/akonadi/ rm -r ~/.config/akonadi* rm -r ~/.config/kmail2rc rm -r ~/.config/kmailsearchindexingrc rm -r ~/.local/share/akonadi_migration_agent/ rm -r ~/.local/share/kmail2/ But it has no effect STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open KMail 2. Go to Settings -> Add Account 3. Put in details for a Gmail account (should detect as IMAP) OBSERVED RESULT The "Find settings provider on internet" just instantly bugs out and no google login page is observed. If you ignore this and continue through the wizard when you try and refresh the account afterwards you get a Resource Google Mail (mdedetrich) is broken. For some time now I am facing troubles with kontact and nextcloud synchronisation. Caldav synchronisation. Connecting kontact to my nextcloud instance works nicley and all the calendar dates are downloaded. After some time synchronisation seems to stop without an obvious reason. Problem is: I do think (but am not sure) when i try to move a calendar date from one day to another, something is stopping the sync process and nothing is syncing anymore. Closing and reopening or manually triggering the sync process does nothing at all anymore. I have tried to install kontact from different sources but the problem persists. Deleting and readding the caldav calendar does resync all dates but after sometime the same problem reappears. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1.
