[Bug 278020] KMail cannot send e-mail via SMTP
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=278020 Piotr Keplicz kepl...@cmc.pl changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kepl...@cmc.pl --- Comment #26 from Piotr Keplicz keplicz cmc pl 2011-10-14 22:03:36 --- Same here on KMail 4.7.2. Scenario: 1. Activated VPN connection that restricted SMTP. 2. Tried to send a mail which got stuck in the outbox. 3. Disabled VPN. 4. Sent a couple of mails only to notice that they were still in the outbox. Send mail from the queue, restarting Kontact and/or akonadi, restarting KDE didn't help. Just as in comment 16, I had to manually edit the dispatcher config file and restart akonadi. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

I have an IMAP account defined with sent mail saved to a local folder. I set up filters to distribute this mail to proper folders, but it doesn't seem to work ever since I upgraded to KMail2 from KMail1 4.4.10. [Bug 283741] New: list view for favorite folders [regression]
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=283741 Summary: list view for favorite folders [regression] Product: kmail2 Version: 4.7 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: folders AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: kepl...@cmc.pl Version: 4.7 (using KDE 4.7.1) OS:Linux In Kmail1 favorite folders were displayed as a list that could be sorted or ordered manually. In Kmail2 favorites are shown as cluttered icons shown in no particular order. Please restore the old view or give an option to choose the view type and change folders order. Currently it's a usability regression compared to previous Kmail versions. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Add some folders to favorites. Watch them appear in a random order in the favorites view. Expected Results: A user should be able to switch the view from icons to a list. Also it should be possible to arrange the icons (automatic or manual sorting).
