Also, I just received the 4.14 update and the account that was working, against a server running Dovecot, now falls in the same way. I will add that I have another IMAP resource configured that does *not* show this behavior. The resource that is failing in this way is also connected to Courier as Peter Nunn noted in the original description. The resource that *is* working connects to a Dovecot server. It's happening with an imap-account on imap.arcor.de. This behaviour also occurres when setting up the mail-account with a new user on a new and clean desktop. Thunderbird and web interface are working fine. Also mail-clients on other devices and platforms. It's possible to send mails via the smpt server via the same provider. The sended mails will be sync with kmail and appears in kmail and also on the sever. It seems that the sync works only in one direction.
