[Bug 248489] Various layout-issues and misalignments in the New Contact view
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=248489 --- Comment #5 from Tobias Koenig tokoe kde org 2010-12-07 14:25:22 --- (In reply to comment #3) Old issues are fixed. But with longer string in e.g. the German translation the buttons on the right side are getting misaligned. Best solutions would be to get a maximum size for the buttons and a label like Thisisalongtex This won't help, we do not gain any new space on screen with that ;) The problem is that the comboboxes for the phone number types are too width. The reason for this are the long german translations for the number types. Any chance to make them shorter? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259125 Summary: kleopatra server features should be disabled Product: Kleopatra Mobile Version: unspecified Platform: Windows CE OS/Version: Windows CE Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: marcus.brinkm...@ruhr-uni-bochum.de Version: unspecified (using Devel) OS:Windows CE kleo mobile is not yet used as a server and thus should not minimze itself (or put itself in the background or whatever magic it does), because that makes kleopatra inaccessible to the user (the windows ce device does not have a status icon panel similar to windows). If you then switch away from the kleopatra window, it disappears and can not be brought back, while kleopatra keeps running in the background. Also, kleopatra mobile should not ask for confirmation if it should be terminated when chosing exit from the menu, because the question is not relevant for the mobile version. And while we are at it, the location of the exit menu entry is inconsistent with the other mobile apps (but I will make a separate report on that). The selftest entry is superfluous in a mobile setting where the environment is more controlled and failing selftests are highly exceptional. The View, Certificates and Tools menus are unproblematic. So something like this I guess: [View] - ... [Certificates] - ... [Tools] - ... [Kleopatra] - [Quit, Minimize, New..., Search..., Work Offline, Configure, Manual, Report Bug Or Request Feature, About AppName] Note: The Minimize entry here is translated with the german equivalent to Switch Application, and it should not be the same minimization that's done by kleopatra in server mode (which is bad on the mobile device). Here it refers to the same function as in the other mobile apps, whatever that is. A UI expert may have more opinions on the menu structure. [Bug 259152] New: KMail adds text typed after adding a link to the link name

If I select only the portion of text that I want to serve as link name, then kmail automatically (and to my great frustration and extreme brain swelling anger) selects ALL the text that it thinks is the link name (all the text that is effectively and wrongly linked) before opening the dialog window to edit the link. The only way to add two consecutive links to different locations is to first type all the email including all the links and only then add the relevant links. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add text that you want to use as link name 2. Create the link 3. Write some more text after that Actual Results: Everything typed (step 3 above) after adding the link (step 2) gets added to the link name. But it looks like, KMail IS leaving some messages at the pop-server. So the next time I download eMails, these messages are downloaded again. So they become duplicated in my eMail-folders. I still found no rule, which messages become duplicated. I have activated a pop-filter for messages bigger than 50KB. But some duplicated messages are bigger, some are smaller than 50KB. I looks like, some messages are left about a week on the server. (After that they are no more duplicated, when downloading eMails.) No, I have NOT selected KMail to leave messages at the pop-server. [Bug 259181] New: Access to AdressBook by Filters is not working
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=259181 Summary: Access to AdressBook by Filters is not working Product: kmail Version: 1.13.2 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: filtering AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: joe.hu...@gmx.de Version: 1.13.2 (using KDE 4.4.2) OS:Linux One of my KMail-Filters put all messages from senders from the KMail-AdressBook in a special folder e.g. known senders. But since I tried working with KDE 4, no senders are recognized any more. On KDE 3.5.10 this was working. The adress book is reachable from KMail, e.g. by menu item. Other filters for putting eMails in special folders are working. When I choose add eMail-Adress to AdressBook at an eMail-Adress, that is just listed in the AdressBook, it gets duplicated in the AdressBook. Perhaps there is a problem with capiTALIsation: Some of the letters of the known adresses in the adress book are writen with capitals. And in the arrived eMails they are all written without capitals. Perhaps this is one reason for not working eMail-Filters based on the AdressBook. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: It happens every time I receive eMails from known adresses since I switched from KDE 3.5.10 to KDE 4. KDE 3 was not affected by this problem.
