KR> Fire Extinguisher
It's not going to do you much good in the baggage area if you have a fire in the cockpit in the air. Can you reach it from your seat? If so, then good. If not, then a better placement would be somewhere you can reach it. I keep a very small Halon down next to my leg. Halon is what you want. KR> Fire Extinguisher ???
Be sure its not a dry chemical type. The powder creates a fog you can't see through. Also, keep it out where you can reach it. See you at The Gathering. KR> Phillip Matheson's Visit to Florida.
Friends, I wanted to publically thank Phillip for his assistance on my KR2. In between journeys to visit museums and cities, we worked on my KR2. On more than one occasion, I got up at 7:30 and went out to the shop to find that Phillip had already been working for some time. See my update pages at www.awesometrvl.com. Phil is also a excellent pilot. I did a check-out for him in a Piper Cadet, then we did some cross country to Cannon Creek. See Phillip's landing on a 25' wide runway at http://www.awesometrvl.com/cannon_creek_airpark.htm If anyone else ever needs assistance with camping gear at Oshkosh, send me an email. It was a great experience. I am trying to get as much done on my plane as possible before the Gathering. I will be camping there Friday and Saturday. Weather permitting, Bill Clapp will be there also. Glenda Glenda McElwee CFI www.AwesomeTrvl.com KI4RDQ - General Class N51GL - in progress Corvair powered KR2 exp_aviat...@lists.awesometrvl.com
