Re: [libreoffice-l10n] Re: Commit localized strings for LibO-3.3.1-rc2(final) release
Hi Andras, could you please take the Estonian files from LibreOffice 3.3.x – Merged UI project? :) Also, if Merged UI is translated, then LibreOffice 3.3.x – LibO specific strings only is not needed, right? If so, could you NOT use the specific strings file? I've made corrections in Merged UI to phrases also used in specific strings, but have lost track of what exactly I changed, so Estonian specific strings file is a bit outdated. Best regards, Mihkel 2011/2/11 Andras Timar tima...@gmail.com 2011/2/11 Martin Srebotnjak mi...@filmsi.net: Ok, 2011/2/11 Andras Timar tima...@gmail.com Translators (including me) thought that RC1 was the last call for l10n updates, anyway, it's OK to me to collect the current strings from Pootle again. :) what about us providing sdf? Should we take a new sdf and update translations? If I understand correctly this is about only 1 new string? Slovenian is otherwise 100% localized. I don't think we should bother 1 new string (the aforementioned Human - the name of the Ubuntu theme). IMHO it is not for translation anyway. I'll release a new SDF later, before 3.3.2 RC1. So my plan is: 1. I'll get updated files from LibreOffice 3.3.x – LibO specific strings only without question. 2. I'll get updated files from LibreOffice 3.3.x – Merged UI/Help if the language lead says so. Please don't say so unless you have done significant work since last Monday. For next l10n fix release I'd prefer only one update - before RC1. Eh, that went quicker than I expected... Anyway, Estonian has UI at 100% now. 2011/2/13 Mihkel Tõnnov mihh...@gmail.com 2011/2/13 Andras Timar tima...@gmail.com 2011.02.13. 11:20 keltezéssel, Mihkel Tõnnov írta: Hi Andras, could you please take the Estonian files from LibreOffice 3.3.x – Merged UI project? :) OK. However, if I'm not finished by the deadline, don't wait up -- the essential parts of the UI are done. [libreoffice-l10n] Default GUI language
Hi folks, Over the last week or so I have been trying to make a silent installation on Windows and I came to the conclusion that its not possible to set the default GUI language in the installation wizard. I solved the problem by installing an extension. This extension can be changed into any default language just by changing the content of the linguistic.xcu in the extension. Feel free to use it if you want :-) http://blog.magenta-aps.dk/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/DanishUI.oxt Cheers, Leif Lodahl The Danish Team -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to l10n+h...@libreoffice.org List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/l10n/ *** All posts to this list are publicly archived for eternity ***

But you can solve it by creating a .mst file or by modifying the existing trans_da.mst. (I use Orca to edit msi/mst files). In Property section set all ISnumber property to 0, only IS1030 (Danish) should be 1. I guess the point is if LO offers multilang installers instead of separate full-lang packs, these should offer silent install in all included languages. And they do not. I guess this is a bug for LO Windows installers and should be treated as that - not that L10N teams would go tinkering the multilang installers and offering them in their webspace. If possible then they should strip the multilang builds to their need. BTW, is that possible - could there be a tool that would take a full-multi-lang installer (built by LO for every release specially for lang teams and not intended for mirror servers and downloading by regular users) and L10N team would run this tool to strip it down to the languages that should be included for that L10N team and default installer settings (installation language, GUI language, included or not included help pack, included extensions). Then the L10N team could offer this stripped down version as the relase of the respective L10N team for those, that do not want to use separate installation packs (separate help) and for marketing purposes (including the build into magazine supplements, sites etc.).
