Hi, please note that the commit deadline for 3.6.0-beta2 is today (Monday), June 19, 2012. NOTE: We are starting to use new version scheme: + 3.6.0.0.alphaXfor Xth alpha release + 3.6.0.0.betaX for Xth beta release + 3.6.0.X for Xth release candidate Advantages: + easy to understand for normal users, alpha, beta flags are known from other projects, so they set reasonable expectations + correct alphabetical sorting in RPM, bugzilla + easy to parse (alpha/beta strings delimited by dot) The result is that we could have the same version everywhere: git tags, source tarballs, about dialog, bugzilla, ...
