Re: [libreoffice-l10n] LibreOffice stickers - what do you need?

2018-04-09 Thread Muhammet Kara

Hi Mike,

All of September 2017, June 2017, and June 2013 looks good. (I have just
added Turkish translations for September 2017 and June 2017 to the wiki
page.)

People also love the blue "I love Free and Open Formats" stickers. (I
was going to translate it, but couldn't find the source file.)

I would also be happy to see some stickers towards new/potential code
contributors. (We talked about it before: "Hacking in the front line").
I am also attaching a variation of the June 2017 sticker with this in
mind. (Not a designer here; so it is only to reflect the idea.)

I think 1000 stickers would be enough for a year. We can use around 400
for starters. (For the upcoming events at the end of this month, and in
the next month.)

And sorry for the late reply. :)

Cheers,
Muhammet

Hi everyone,

We at The Document Foundation are going to order some more stickers
soon, to hand out at events. We have designs in English here:

Then there are the "Proud contributor" stickers from the Month of
LibreOffice:

https://blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2017/07/17/month-libreoffice-stickers-action/

But we'd like to hear from native-lang projects -- what do you need? Are
there particular stickers, designs or translations you'd like to have
for your local events and communities? You can see the .odg versions of
some stickers on the wiki page, but just let me know if you need more
for translations...

Cheers,

Hi,

What is "FA feature"?

Could you send me the speller (.dic + .aff)?

I usually implement features with the help of users who send me spellers
and tell me what PTG should do.

Thanks!

I don't understand what you want to achieve here. The space between
'blah;' and 'blubb' is not needed, the help index is build as blah=first
level, blubb=second level of indentation.
See here for an explanation
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/UI_and_Help_files_Content_Guide#.3Cbookmark_value.3E.3C.2Fbookmark_value.3E
I won't add any space because as I said it's a great way to recognize
that it's an index entry.

There are a lot of double spaces added in sentences where it is real
spaces (and will have an incidence in the look and quality of the en_US
help), I think (I might be wrong) this is the a problem with the help
tool that should be corrected, or at least be removed before committing
the patch. I've absolutely no time to dedicate to it at the moment, but
if someone would like to have a look at it, it would be great.

 Hi,

And now the Babilon tower is open to all ...

For years I was asking for a kind of a review process for all new
 strings
in UI/help and for the editing process. So someone overlooks all the
changes going in and stops the ones that seem unfit (in langague or
technical sense), thus reducing the repetitive editing of same strings.

Instead, now there is a possibility to edit everything even more
"easily", with even less thinking about it before it is done.

So now we might see a surge in help changes that make many l10n
 projects
quite vulnerable, and most probably several edits of same strings in
 a row
(a documenter reminding oneself that another thing should be added or
changed or edited, after it is already featured in git).

Hopefully, this function is limited to master, because if this is
available in "stable" versions, this will lead to havoc ...

Great news, thanks for your work :) I'll do it during the day. But be
aware that all the translation of the site is not in Pootle, so you'll
