I come back to this thread because I think you are right.
I was working on Weblate this week-end with people around so I get
frequently disturbed and I experienced this annoying issue more than
once. I'll try to see if I can replicate it again, but it might be a
timeout setting somewhere.
Christian is currently on vacation, so I'll also discuss this with him
when he is back.

And yes, sometimes a coffee is needed to go on translating ;-)

The issue continues. For me if I let weblate open and idle on a string
for some time, and then come back to resume translation, I get the
message mentioned in this thread and the translation restart as if I had
left weblate.

As example, if I leave weblate open at string 100 out of 200, on
resuming translation I am sent to string 1 of 100, which is the 100th of
the 200' set. NO lost job except the annoyance.

Looks like a stealth time-out or safeguard idle time
cheers

Hi Sophie,

I've just hade this error message again with this string:

https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_help-master/textsharedoptionen/hsb/?q=state:empty

This time the next string was shown after cklicking the Save and
Continue button.

The string was empty again and all affected strings are shown as empty
in the history as well.

Regards.

Hi Stanislav,

thank you for your reply. I experienced this issue with this string again:

https://translations.documentfoundation.org/translate/libo_help-master/textsharedoptionen/hsb/?q=state%3Aempty=1

Weblate jumped two strings forward and the translated string was empty
again.

It is similar as in your bug report but "saving" the string doesn't take
a long time.

If you meet again the issue, could you point us to the exact string so

The issue cropped up again. I have the exact error message now (I
usually see it in German):

"The source string has changed meanwhile. Please check your changes."
Thanks, do you have the link to the string so we can have a look to the

Weblate jumped one string or more strings forward then. When returning,
the first of the untranslated string is the string that I've just
translated and that was not saved, the input box is empty again then.

Yes, it was for Upper Sorbian and maybe also for Lower Sorbian. I don't
know anymore. I translate the projects alternately, first into Upper
Sorbian, then into Lower Sorbian.

ok, thanks.

Does any one else experienced this issue?
