en_GB dictionary for AOO
Hello I have been working on the en_GB dictionary for Thunderbird, SeaMonkey and Firefox [1]. I have decided to paste all the words I have added so far (V2.00 + WIP V2.01) in AOO and a lot of them aren't recognized. Even very simple basic words such as "antivirus" aren't recognized. So, I am offering myself to improve AOO's dictionary as well. The big issue with it is that it is compressed, so my tool doesn't work normally with it. Yes, it's back, but there is a bunch of read exclamation marks in the German folder tree. Take a look at that. The other languages I'm using (Lithuanian, Polish, Russian) look good. Some Seemingly Misplaced Strings
As I'm going through the Lithuanian translation string-by-string and reworking it from the ground up, every once in a while I bump into translated strings that have nothing to do with the English translation. That is a sign that automated processes do commit errors and translations have to be revisited in whole each time a new update is being prepared. Still, those strings were erratic and rare before I hit this one ...wizards\source\formwizard.po, which contains quite a number of misplaced strings. You may want to double-check this file in your native language to make it contains no surprises. Please write to this list before the 6 September deadline (so, do it by 5 September, thanks!) if you would like to see updates to bundled dictionaries in OpenOffice 4.0.1.
