[lace] italian translation, please
Dear Arachnids, A friend of mine is looking for the translation of instructions on a pattern from the Lace Express. It says âper ogniâ and then ânastrinoâ. Any ideas of what it might mean or where to go to get a translation would be appreciated. Many thanks Libby Inglis, sunny Shrewsbury, UK --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com - To unsubscribe send email to majord...@arachne.com containing the line: unsubscribe lace y...@address.here. [lace-chat] Wedding photos
Dear Arachnes, My officemate took some photos of my son's wedding: https://plus.google.com/photos/109530146870925961703/albums/6094378009835892833?banner=pwa It was a very Israeli wedding, rather informal. I was certain that my husband would be the only one under chuppah not wearing a tie, but the bride's father also wore a white shirt, no tie. When I arrived, the mother of the bride grabbed my arms and said, Why didn't Orna [the hat seller] tell me that we got the same hat?! Technically, it is the same hat--crocheted base with applied fabric flowers and machine lace, but the colours are so different that you would have had to look really closely. Her hat was white/pink and mine was white/red/purple. Hey, we were just well-coordinated! :-) The hall was amazing, like an indoor garden. Son surprised us at the end when he took the stage and sang/played with the band.
